Magnetic Stirrer Magnetic Stir Plate 3000RPM Lab Stirrers with Stir Bar Max Stirring Capacity 3000mL Magnetic Mixer (No Heating)

Solid, minimal, efficient stirrer for a hobbyist. Unsuitable to large volumes or heavy duty use, it is nevertheless, just about perfect for experimenters. Second one from this brand I have purchased over the years (improvements tempted me to abandon my earlier model, which worked HARD for years).

When you mix your morning coffee with sugar and or milk, a simple swirling with a spoon is all that is needed. When mixing ANY supplements or medications, it is imperative that a COMPLETE mixing is performed, especially a powdered substance. My use of a Kratom powder in my morning coffee requires more than a "good stirring" to receive ALL of the benefits of my Red Bali powder. This unit performs the job Easy Peasy.... As the amount of "goodness" extracted from this powder is directly related to how well it is mixed, I found that using this magnetic mixer provides a **very noticeable increase** of the extraction of the beneficial "nutrients" that the Kratom possesses. This mixer is definitely one of those things that you'll say, "Should have bought this YEARS ago".... P.S. When starting the mixer, start with the unit OFF and SLOWLY increase the speed to where you get a good "stirring funnel". I found that the pictured "swirl" is about 25-30% speed.... I also use a thin piece of wood to help prevent top plate scratches and insulates the mixer from the heat from the cup of a hot "beverage".. Actually, I am mixing my last, evening cup of "goodness" right now with my timer set for 20 minutes. “Yippee ki-yay"....

Works very well. Adjustable speed. Magnetic stir bars sold separately. Nice quality, feels well made. Runs for hours with no issues. Whisper quiet. Rubber feet so it stays planted during operation.

I am leaving the review 4ish + years later after I bought it because sadly today...the plate has finally died, and I used the heck out of that thing. While the magnetic function still works whatever mechanics inside that make it spin has finally given out. I used to call it Mr. Dead or Alive because you spin me right round baby, right round, like a record! All and all it was totally worth it for 17 bucks, I might just go ahead and buy the same one to replace it. I will say one critique is the torque/power it had to get the bar spinning. Standard and slightly thicker liquids and what not no problem at all, but the few times I had to mix something a bit more viscous (Think cold maple syrup out of the fridge) I had to do a bit of tinkering (Things like manually shaking the container to get it moving, or turning the unit on and off while the bar was synced to the plate, to give it that slight extra boost of turn power) to finally get through the initial few rotations before it picked up steam and stayed spinning consistently...but all and all great product and value.

First one did not work. Would not spin the magnetic stir bar in the beaker. Returned for replacement and the replacement was at UPS on the way the day after I dropped off the one being returned at my local UPS store. Replacement unit works perfectly. It can under higher revolutions throw the stir bar when used in larger containers with light viscosity fluids, but not an issue for most uses. If I hadn't had to return the first unit I would have given 5 stars.

Work great and great price

Very happy, this is the third brand of magnetic stirrers I've used. I want to point out what Linda noticed from two of these units, she stated it is not possible to get it on the lowest setting without turning it up then down. The ironic part is I have this issue with the other two units that are not only different brands, but one is a different design (hot plate + magnetic stirrer combo)... I was thinking this was the better brand, but notice INTLLAB and BAITUSS are the same design, and even the same color, probably made in the same factory. What is the difference? Quality control. The unit was only $17 for me, are we going to complain about them not all having a consistent dial? I would expect it to be an issue, and you would probably have to go with a high end product. One thing to be aware of is this unit actually produces more power than the hot plate combo, so it really is a great deal.

This stirrer worked fine for a better part of two months. Then it started making scraping noise inside but it still rotates. My guess is it prepares to fail.

Zudem bietet der Magnetrührer ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und konnte mich insgesamt vollständig überzeugen. Früher waren diese Geräte zum Teil einfach unerschwinglich teuer, wenn man damit lediglich im Hobbybereich arbeiten wollte, lohnte das sich meistens nicht. Zusammenfassend bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem Magnetrührer. Er erfüllt seine Funktion perfekt und bietet zudem ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich kann ihn bedenkenlos jedem empfehlen, der einen zuverlässigen und effektiven Magnetrührer sucht.

Really good product for mixing..

Acheté pour mixer les chimie de photo cet agitateur fonctionne à merveille. Jusqu'ici aucun problème à l'usage en utilisant un broc de 1L. Je ne sais pas s'il tiendrait des contenances plus élevées ou plus visqueuses comme l'indique les autres commentaires en revanche... Bref je recommande pour un usage simple
