This particular design is perfect for being kind to your hair while it's wet and vulnerable. I have seen no other item like this. This is extremely well made, should last for many years of use. Now, this is a sturdy, thick and not lightweight terry cloth with a wide elastic band. I would love to see the makers of this particular towel, offer another version of the same towel in a lighter weight Turkish cotton. With the same length and same elastic, but using a lightweight Turkish cotton towel material. And not all Turkish cotton towel material is the same. I use a particular brand that is slightly less dense than what other people think are the higher quality Turkish towels. Well those higher quality Turkish towels are less absorbent and are not as efficient at drying off a body and hair as the lighter weight weave version. If I had a sewing machine, I would make one myself out of one of my towels.

A lifesaver.... With a broken right wrist, it was impossible to wrap my long hair in a towel after showering. This product worked beautifully, keeping my hair out of the way while I dried off. It is easy to use with one hand and very well priced. I only wish they would offer it in a microfiber version; lighter weight and easier to travel with.

It is easy to use just very bulky when you have it on

The elastic gathering at one end is a little tight due to the bulk of the toweling. The label is a bit scratchy as well, and one has to pay attention to avoid it. If one has a small head and masses of hair, I suppose it might work well, but for a medium sized head and baby fine long hair, it was just too much trouble, and didn't seem all that absorbent. It seemed to trap the moisture instead. Preference is for a thinner terrycloth turban I can tuck my hair into right after washing my hair in the shower so that my hair stays out of my way while I complete the rest of the showering process. I have one, but it is getting thread-bare, so I tried this product as a replacement. I'll keep searching.

It is always so hard to find this type of towel in 100% cotton. I kept a towel for myself and gave the other three as gifts and all the reciepiants said the same thing. "I love this towel" it dries my hair in an instant". I am very happy I made this purchase and will purchase again.

Very coarse cotton, not at all like the microfiber hair towels which are alot more absorbent. Also hard to get over your head and then the back is completely open. If you use it just to pull your hair back, much easier to use a hair tie or clip. If you want to use it to dry your hair, buy a different type that twists and had a loop to hold it up off the face.

I bought this when I read that the standard microfiber twisty things can cause breakage to wet hair. I'm very pleased with this. There are clear instructions included on how to use it. I like the bright turquoise color. The material is very thick and high quality, though it could be a little softer. I might prefer a thinner one that doesn't seem to weigh down my head slightly (maybe a microfiber), but I'd purchase this again as is. I love that my hair isn't twisted in order to hang in this. If you have long hair, it will come out the bottom end of this and rest on your lower back. I figured out just to pull the end up behind me and shake my hair back into it. Great product!
