Gizmo Supply Blanket Far Infrared FIR Sauna Blanket 3 Zones (2nd Gen v2)

Before the whole pandemic situation I had gotten a gift certificate to a med spa from my girlfriend and ended up trying out their infrared spa detox, where they wrap you in one of those human garbage bags (like wrestlers or boxers wear when training sometimes) and you lay in this kind of sauna blanket. I loved that part of the whole spa deal the best, so much that I went back twice again before things shut down. I ended up doing some research and found out I can buy one of these myself (I initially thought it was a “medical only” thing) AND even those garbage bag-type sweat suits here on Amazon. So I did, and I’m super glad. This is well worth the money – buying this is the same price as FOUR sessions (and that’s the “special” price) at the spa. Plus I don’t even need to leave the house. I even think this may be better quality if not the same one the spa had. As for benefits, this relaxes me, helps me sleep better, and I swear helps my mood. It’s also easy to clean up, especially since most of my sweat is contained in the suit I put on (P.S. Do NOT try how I do it immediately, especially if you haven’t before… going in naked or in regular clothes is just fine. I don’t stay in longer than 20-30 minutes with the suit on). So yes, very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

I love this blanket because it has 3 zones. The velcro makes it easy to focus on what I want and allow air flow to where I don’t. I am claustrophobic but this blanket doesn’t bother me like some others that zips up. You will pay more for this but it is is worth it. It has some weight to it which is comforting. Since they recommend use of the floor I put a heavy blanket underneath it and propped up some pillows for my neck and that works out very well. Definitely use a towel to lay on within the blanket because you will sweat and don’t want to be uncomfortable with the heat. I like a higher temperature and didn’t use a full towel and found myself shifting around a bit so just use the towel. It will feel like it’s taking time to warm up but trust me you aren’t missing anything. I know this is a little more expensive but you will not be disappointed. I bought a lesser expensive version and was not good. There is no comparison. For pain and inflammation, I could feel my joints releasing in this blanket and swelling going down. My muscles felt like I was soaking in a tub up to my neck. It helps with stress. People use a weighted blanket to be comforted. Imagine that weighted blanket being heated. For someone who HATES to be hot, I love this blanket. It provides that much relief!

I cannot get the blanket to work. No instruction in package. So, I watched youtube videos. The blanket does not heat up. I finally called customer care. This is what the customer service rep told me: "I do apologize ma'am, but we always tell people to buy the product directly from us and not Amazon, because we cannot help you. Business is business and we always tell people to not buy from Amazon but from us directly. " Hmmmm, maybe someone should tell Amazon about this feedback. I'm very certain this is a product that simply does not work. Seriously stunning for the amount of dosh you pay. Horrible!

I got this product close to a month ago. It arrived timely and the first time I used it I felt like I had worked out! The next day I had a ton of energy! I was excited because I was struggling with my energy levels but not any more after using this product! I have noticed my clothes are fitting a lot more loose without changing my eating habits! And I put my son in the blanket for 30 mins and it has improved his eczema. I can't wait to see what month two has in store!

I received my sauna blanket and was so excited to use it but found it to be defective. One of the temperature readings only show “EE”. I ordered a replacement but spending almost $500 to receive a defective item does not leave a good impression of this product. Update: received replacement sauna blanket a day earlier than expected. The sauna blanket seems bulky. I felt a little uncomfortable first but after 10 minutes I relaxed. I set the temperature to about 60 degrees Celsius and it was warm not hot so I didn’t sweat much. I guess I will have to increase temperature more to sweat. Overall I believe it’s a good investment and I can’t wait to see the health benefits.
