This worked exactly as described in my Mercedes. I connected it to the multi media port in my armrest and set the stereo input to “Aux”. From there, you can play anything from your iPhone (stream music, podcasts, etc) and it plays through your stereo. You control the volume using the car’s controls but everything else (song selection, etc) has to be done using your phone. It’s literally just like an old school aux cable with a Lightning connector. Sound quality is significantly better vs. when connected to the stereo via Bluetooth (I suspect my car has older Bluetooth protocols). Also, this will charge your phone too but it’s limited by the wattage available from the car’s multimedia port. For example, in my car it can’t keep up with the battery drain if battery is at 20% and running GPS (Google Maps). But if your phone is already charged, you can run it all day on Google Maps and it keeps the charge up perfectly.

It worked great until it didn’t. It didn’t last a year. Now it just charges my phone, but no audio. It like the cords you buy at 5 below. Over priced forIt fits and it works in my 2010 Mercedes Benz ML 350. Now I can listen to Podcast and my playlist while in my car.

Would never charge phone at the start, stopped working in less than two months with very little usage

Ordered this as an AUX cord for my iPhone 13 to play music in my 2010 Mercedes ML350. It's perfect! And this model AUX cord will play the music and charge my phone at the same time! Great customer service!

Got a new iPhone and needed the newer type adaptor plug for my car. It worked exactly as it should - just as well as the OEM.My vehicle is a 2009 Mercedes Benz R320 Diesel crossover SUV.
