Good fast duplicator
This is a very fast duplicator and runs faster than the ones I have had before. Recommended. It asks a lot of questions before doing a run, some of which aren't necessary (such as telling you how many blanks you just put into it and asking for confirmation) and it can freeze up and get errors if it gets cold, so keep it in a warm area!

ALMOST perfect!
I have a DVD business. I use this every single day and it does what it is supposed to do. You put the master in the top and blanks on the 5 below and it copies an exact copy. No computer needed. There are no hookups to hook this to a computer. You just plug it in and go. Pros - it's relatively quick - it will alert you if the disc fails - it makes my life so much easier than burning one at a time in my computer - it completely fills the disk even if the master is not a complete full disk. Which I love. Meaning even if your master doesn't fill the entire disk, the copies will fill the entire disk. Why is this good? Because the small circle in the middle of the disk people don't like they assume it's a cheap copy. When it's filled all the way, it looks much more professional. Now I will not burn any discs for customers without this burner because the burner in my computer makes the ring in the middle. Cons - you can only have one kind of disc in at a time. The master disc and copy discs can be different brands but you cannot mix the copy brands. So if you have one disc of one kind and one of another it will fail. You'll have to burn each disc by itself separately. - if you are not quick to load the copy burners it will just start burning. So say you have two more in one spindle you put them in and go to open another spindle to add the additional three it will just start burning. It gives you like a minute to get them filled before it starts burning. - this is my biggest con and the reason I gave it 4 out of five stars. You can't miss disc brands so if you have four of one brand and one of another, it will not allow you to burn at the same time, you'll have to burn the four at once and then redo it with the one additional of the different brand of disc. - I use rewritable discs to test for my masters. So I make my disk image then I write it to a rewritable. Then I use that rewritable to make my master disc. If you have a 50 GB rewritable disc and you want to burn it to a 25 GB disc, it will fail even if you only have 25 GB of data on the 50 GB disc. - if your disc fails, it will make us really annoying alarm sound that continues about every 30 seconds until you get up and take out the disc. Whereas if it's completed successfully, it'll beep a couple of times and then stop. I know this review makes it sound like there's more cons than pros. And I wanted to document all of the cons so people know before they buy this very expensive product. But I can't imagine my life without it. I burn between 10 and 30 discs a day and without this I'd be doing it one at a time in my computer which generally took most of the day. If not more than a day. I'm very happy to have it. I hope the company reads this and can make some changes and maybe in a couple years I'll upgrade it.

Just what an Independent film maker needs.
Made production of CD easy for a small independent film maker very easy. What used to take about an hour to make one has now increased production exponentially without tying up a computer. Very easy to use.
