Item came in well packed box providing protection to the stone.Followed the suggestion by one of the reviews to wash it water before using. Works like a charm as there was no smoke or smell coming from the stone.Made pizza last night and turns out great. Wish I have a better oven to crank up the heat more and make awesome pizza.
