I absolutely love this yarn! I've used it multiple times in various colors to create beautiful crocheted mandala blankets. Having purchased a diffrent yarn from the same brand the colors are beautiful, it feels nice and soft. The quality feels nice, great value for the money spent. I'm not hard on my yarn but the durability is pretty good. The knots I've done seem pretty strong

Beautiful yarn, and incredibly soft. Like some people stated it is thinner then average, but I just bought 2 and crochet with both at once for areas I need the extra thickness. I'm making a dragon inspiderd shawl, so certain areas need to be thicker so I can add stuffing (mostly the dragons head) and then the scales are looser so it doesn't get too hot to wear. The softness is wonderful, the transitions are gradual with small knots. Since I'm inventing a new crochet pattern this is very likely to become my go-to yarn for this style

Only down side is that it splits easy as you're working with it (I crochet). It's super soft, beautiful colors, my favorite size (super fine). I was very happy with it, and LOVE how the witch hat came out!

Never thought I’d be comfortable using a 1 weight yarn, but I made a shawl using this yarn and absolutely loved it. Colors are beautiful, yarn is a great quality. I’m very happy and just ordered my second skein.

This made a beautiful shawl! I used a 5mm hook, even with this being very thin, maybe fingering weight. But it turned out so pretty!! It was really big, though. I had to skip a little bit of the yarn here and there to get to the end colors without the shawl turning into a blanket. I wish I would’ve skipped a bit of the purple at the beginning to be honest, but all in all I was very happy with this yarn! I tried the scheepjes yarn first and made a shawl with it, and I loved it but yarn art is cheaper so I wanted to try it out and compare the two. In my opinion, the color transition was smoother on the scheepjes whirlyarn, and I was more of a fan of the feel of the scheepjes I think, but that’s really just personal preference. The scheepjes is 60% cotton/ 40% acrylic, where the yarn art is 55% cotton/ 45% acrylic. The yarn art is a bit softer I think but I preferred the 60/40 blend of the scheepjes slightly more. However, I do absolutely love this yarn and I will purchase again.

THIS IS A WEIGHT 1 YARN, Very slender bought it thinking it was a weight 4. I was dissapointed at first and had to find a different pattern, but it's soft, workable and doesn't split easily, the gradient is beautiful so far!

This yarn is very soft and much more affordable than its high-end cousin, scheepjes. The gradient is nice and slow, although the ends of the new strands are tied rather than being joined like scheepjes. It doesn’t split and is easy enough to work with until you get about half to two-thirds through the center pull skein. That’s when the yarn babies become plentiful. This is the 6th skein I’ve ordered and worked with and it’s always the same. One project, a child’s dress, I had to scrap because the center pull tangle was so extreme I couldn’t work through it without cutting and rejoining multiple times. It may be different if you rewind the skein yourself, so you can make sure it’s not tangled in the center. It’s high quality yarn, washes well, works up beautifully, but the center tangles are so frustrating that it’s almost worth spending the extra money for scheepjes to save your time and sanity.

Lovely to use. I crochet with it. Shawls etc. I'm used to Scheepjes Whirls. This is a good cheaper option. 1000m as advertised. Will buy and use again.

Making a shawl, a little bit harder to work with than expected as yarn splits easily. Suggest pointed crochet hook, or smaller size than recommended. Love the colours.

Es un estambre delgadito calibre 1 (tal vez como el hilo cristal, la hilaza eulali) como para ropa delgadita, mantas de bebe y grandes, queda ligero, se recomienda ganchillo 3mm pero yo use 4mm y quedo super bien la tela, los cambios de color son largos, yo hice una manta de 1.2mts X 1.7m, use dos y media bolas, no es baratisimo pero sale mas o menos como comprar la misma cantidad de hilaza de la merceria, poquito mas caro, solo que este ya tiene los colores coordinados y es mucho mas suave la tela al final. Cada cambio de color fue cada mas o menos 10cm o sea que se hacen cambios largos. Es algodon y acrilico, no esta nada brilloso, se siente de excelente calidad, super suavecito, los colores son como en la imagen, no se ven muy diferentes en vivo, me llego antes de lo mencionado. Muy recomendado, lo volveria a comprar. C. C.

I love this yarn, despite of delivery mess up and missed the eta, 2 cakes arrived separately. Yarn are good but handler are not!
