Actually, if you are brave enough, you can turn any of the Bond scents into a unisex scent! The scent is not specifically marketed for women, but it seems to be its implied market. So, if it floats your boat to wear it, then by all means... have at it!

I got a sample vial set as a gift. The one I liked most was wrapped in a gold paper and said "Bond No 9 perfume" so is this the same thing?

While expensive the Bond No. 9 was a great gift to my sister. The only way to know for sure is to purchase the product and compare. Good Luck!
