While product is good, the particular piece I received is torn from the side and seems used as it’s not clean. Tried to reach out to seller for replacement but seller is unresponsive . Hence giving this rating as product can’t be returned.

I've have four of these purchased over the last 8 years. XL Firm, two in the original black and two in the newer blue. I use them in my normal daily shoes and boots as well as hiking boots. Coupled with pretty regular inside use of Birks they have pretty much arrested and eliminated the plantar fasciitis I was developing in my late 40s. Are they the best? I'm sure some more expensive and/or custom solutions, particularly full insoles, are better, but those are two to maybe 10 times the price. Basically these are one of the better bangs for your buck and the real deal. I noticed some mixed comments but with foot things that's to be expected. You basically have to try them out. Everybody's feet, gait, and weight are different. The only downside I found is because they are fairly grippy rubber. They wear out the heels of my socks faster. I'd ask the manufacturer if there is any way to add a layer, at least to the top side, of something with a little less friction.

Excellent product. I have been using them for 15 -20 years. Previously I ordered directly on-line from California but this is my first order via Amazon. I have heel (calcaneal) spurs diagnosed by xray. The heel pads work very well for me and allow me to walk long distances without pain or discomfort. Using the pads my heels have improved over time and I do not now need them all the time. The price has increased over time but it is still a very good solution.

I’ve had heel pain that wouldn’t go away. In the past, I’ve dealt with plantar fasciitis (more toward the middle of the sole of the foot) and been able to resolve it with stretches and exercises and fixing calf trigger points. This was the first time I couldn’t help my foot, so I started trying numerous new things. This was thing number 3 or 4. I’ve been using these for about five weeks. My dog walks and pickleball felt more comfortable with feet supported right away, but the pain after getting up in the morning was the same for the first week or two. It’s gradually been improving however. Now, my heel is only a little tender when I first get up and not every morning. I’ll definitely call that a win and am hoping for further improvement. We shall see. Inexpensive and worth trying, and I got used to them in my shoes quickly. (Couldn’t get used to sleeping with a foot splint which others also recommended.) Five stars from me.

This has been a life saving product. I have foot pain in the heel and arch areas for the last year. I had a heel spur so any extended period of walking will cause pain. I love to walk my dog so it hindered my activities. I spent money and research into various quality shoes to help alleviate these problems. It helps a little but not much and costs a lot. I went on Amazon and found this plantar fasciitis insole. I was skeptical that it would help but was desperate to try anything. It is somewhat costly for an insole but the reviews were very good. I took a chance and bought one to try. It took a short time to get used to the firmness of the insole but I can then feel the difference. My foot hurts less with each day. I continued to do certain exercises for my foot along with wearing this insole. At night, I also rolled a frozen water bottle under my feet along with massaging them with ointment. I am now wearing the insole on a regular basis and my right foot is starting to feel normal again after wearing the insole for about a month or so. It has improved a little each day. I waited until I know the product really helped before I wrote this reviews. I planned on buying a couple more insoles for the other shoes. This is a great product since it provides great arch support and helps to position your feet properly to lessen the pain. I highly recommend the product. Hopefully, it helps other customers like me. They also sell the hybrid and gel insole which is softer but I have gotten used to the firm rubber and it seems to be most effective. I don't even feel it anymore in my shoes.
