Usually during the winter, I get dry scalp from the cold weather in my area. This year however, was the worst it's ever been, and for some reason, my dry scalp persisted even as the weather got a lot warmer. In addition, my scalp was super itchy this year, which had never happened before. I tried so many shampoos, anything from neutrogena t-sal, head and shoulders, a garnier fructis tea tree shampoo, aveda balancing scalp shampoo, exederm, apple cider vinegar rinse, etc. and none of these products worked, or only fixed one of the problems (aka relieved the flakes but did nothing for my itchy scalp, and vice versa). My scalp was itchy, flaky, red and irritated from my scratching despite the warm and humid climate I was in. Sometimes it made it hard for me to fall asleep because it was so itchy. I decided to try this product since I saw it was targeted specifically towards dry and itchy scalp. I washed my hair with it for the first time and saw immediate results. It doesn't say to shampoo twice, but I did the first time because after my first lather, my scalp still felt a little itchy and I didn't get a very strong tingly sensation from the tea tree oil. After my second lather, the menthol and tea tree oil immediately soothed all my itches and I got that strong tingly sensation that I love about tea tree oil. I let it sit in my hair for a couple minutes before rinsing out with cold water. And after I let my hair air dry, I found that my scalp was not itchy AT ALL and the dryness/flakiness drastically improved (not completely resolved though, but I'm sure as I continue to use it it will get better). My hair also felt lighter and softer, which is great considering all the other shampoos I have been trying have dried out my hair. I also love the herbal scent of this shampoo, a drastic improvement from my apple cider vinegar rinse leftover smell. Although I only used this one time, I was too excited about the results to not write a review immediately, since I finally found a shampoo that soothes my dry scalp. I'd definitely say to give this shampoo a try if you're hesitant, and its relatively cheap compared to all the other expensive shampoos that claim to resolve scalp problems.

This conditioner helped my scalp , used it for a long time. Smells great , rinses out well

My scalp began itching several months ago and was getting worse, although I had begun using a brand-name shampoo that was supposed to help with a itching scalp. Although I was taking Benadryl at bedtime, It would itch so bad, within an hour or so after going to lying down, I would be up rubbing Witch Hazel or apple cider vinegar all over my head, trying to get some relief. Many nights it was so bad, and I was so tired, I'd cry for hours out of frustration and exhaustion, until I would fall back to sleep for an hour or so. After buying Yes To Tea Tree Scalp Relief Soothing Shampoo, several weeks ago, I am washing my hair with it every day. What blessed relief! Every night there is less itch. I am no longer awaking with that terrible itch that left me clawing at my scalp until I was awake enough to rub it with ice, or whatever I thought might help. I can live and sleep with the minor itch I now experience. I have no idea what caused this problem, but I am so very grateful to have discovered this shampoo, which has made it so MUCH better.

I have a dry scalp and have tried various products. I noticed a difference after the first use. Smells good too. Much better than Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp!

Great lightweight shampoo! I use every once in awhile for a quick refresh! Smells like a spa and very gentle on the scalp! Highly recommend!

It was ok but not what I really wanted still had some itchy scalp

This has helped my scalp so much. I haven’t gone back to my former shampoo because this has calmed the itches doesn’t dry out my hair.

Comfortable and soothing product

I suffered from a chronic dry & itchy scalp for years-no more very thankfully. Eventually, a combination of Nizoral shampoo used several times followed by regularly using this shampoo, plus the Yes to Naturals conditioner, provided very welcome relief. I also noticed that my dry scalp always improved somewhat whenever I was on holiday somewhere with soft water (ie Lake District). As I have exceedingly hard water where I live I now also use spring water for the final rise. As a bonus, both the shampoo and conditioner have a lovely creamy texture & pleasant smell. Worth every penny!
