Good buy
Was easier to install than i thought it would be. Did provide good protection. Takes a while for adhesion lines (from using application tool) to level out and dissappear.

READ THIS. NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE OR DIRECT SUN
This is not suitable for outdoor use, not suitable for vehicles, according to vivvid own tech support " the product should not be left out in the sun" , this is not a joke. I am now having to repaint after an impossible removal of a clear product that within 2 years turned black and cracked into small pieces so it could not be removed by peeling. According to analysis it might be a PVC based product which will gas out once installed and change into a useless garbage, on my lights and license places it turned yellow , on painted car it turned black. I a, horrified by how bad this is, and the kicker is I bought a lot of it, and used it on more than one car and anything else I thought I was protecting. There might be some use inside away from UV light for this. Otherwise, please do not use this on your car or truck, it is not a 3M product, it is junk. It is a horrible value. My cost to repair all the damage is beyond what I could have just paid a shop to do. I will post pictures, it is a nightmare. And my review is not the only one telling you this exact story.

Good value, not that hard to install - where I used it, at least!
Much to The Spousal Unit's pleasure I finally replaced our washer/dryer combo, purchased in 1990 and kept running all these decades by me. I had noticed that the paint on the top of the washer and dryer had been ground down to metal in places over the years, due to grit being picked up by laundry baskets. Decided to put this clear PPF on the top of both new units, covering any part that could be hit often by the baskets. Only time will tell but I'm pretty sure this will go a long way toward maintaining the equipment appearance. Cheers!

Scratch Protection
Bought this to wrap the top of a new tool box to keep scratches away. I didn't do the best job since its a tool box and its staying in my garage but I appreciate not scratching the paint off after using it as a table for the first time, can always peel it off and have fresh paint underneath after some work with goo-gone. The application kit included..... Yeah, I threw it in the trash and settled on using a squeegee that I used to install tint. If you plan on applying this PPF to a vehicle then Id suggest getting a good installation kit.

Great product to protect things.
I bought this vinyl to cover the clear plastic portion of our outdoor garden lights. In the past, the plastic on the lights weathered and became cloudy. This product keeps the lights looking brand new!

Its two this to lay over graphics bubble are hard to clear and not so clear wrap
I use VVIVID for many projects and bought this expecting it to clear bubbles and to be a little thicker. It was easy to work with but it just could not gets the bubbles out and the material seemed to be to thin. I need to get a thicker clear vinyl wrap to overlay my existing vinyl graphics on my motorcycle. It also was not as clear when you did get it to lay. It seemed to muddy up the graphics.

Door Scratch Preventer
Used this for the inside of my door that I tend to kick when getting in and out.. Even with a texture on the door this film is holding strong and I can no longer scratch the inside of my door with my shoes. The application process is a little difficult but if you have ever applied vinyl before you know its not the easiest material to work with.

Poor adhesion
Edges do not adhere well, when stretched to conform losses adhesion. Heating, alcohol and the typical tricks are ineffective. Buy extra and replace frequently.

Unbelievable. Not a single word of instructions. It does not even say on the package which product it is out of hundreds on their Web site. There is zero instruction there also. Just reference to a youtube channel which covers everything in world, but installation PPF with adhesive. As it is, it's not possible to remove any air bubble. Looks horrible. Adhesive is pretty strong, so it's one or maybe two attempts and it's badly damaged. Do I need water, soap or some kind of solution? Go figure.

Grueso, poco maleable para superficies no planas

I applied this 3M clear vinyl to my car a few days ago. It's a 5 star product. I rated "Easy to install" less than 5 stars only because vinyl is never totally easy to install. It takes practice to do well and it's easy for a one-timer to do it poorly. Clean your surfaces well beforehand. Spray vehicle with soapy water, and pull vinyl back up/readjust as needed. Use a squeegee to work out the air pockets. And the final step, where the practice really comes in, heat up the vinyl with a heat gun to make it stretchy to wrap around curves and edges. That's the tricky part. Not enough heat and it won't contour properly, or too much heat and it melts/overstretches. Take your time and the end product can look great.

Did not stick and had to throw it away. Got a professional to install it for me and he said just not a good product.
