An impulse purchase that I don't regret. Just need to practice now. It is long, well made and very leathery. Any ideas?

Great starter whip! Good length, basic quality. The throng will eventual come undone. The leather is fake but holds up alright. I donโt suggest getting it wet.

Basically a prop, leather loose. Quality reflects prices

Okay, so do note, I am a complete noobie when it comes to whips. I want to start doing this as a hobby, and I thought a cheap whip would be a good place to start. From what I can tell, the whip is well made, and I did get it to crack a few times but I can also tell my technique is absolutely garbage compared to what I've seen on YouTube. This will take time to get better, but I'd rather start with a cheap whip in case I end up completely hating this hobby and ultimately never using the whip again. I don't want to pay $150-$250 for a whip I'll only use a handful of times. I'll write an update after I've had more practice with this thing. READ THE DESCRIPTION, it's important to note that you must break the whip in. Do not try to stretch it or apply oils or you risk destroying the whip. I am taking a star away because the description noted that extra crackers and this wasn't the case. Not a deal breaker for me though, it's a $50 whip, but I think this is good for starting out. Worst case, this is harder to use than a good whip so if I decide to upgrade, the next whip will be much easier to use.
