Seidio SURFACE Case with Metal Kickstand for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Retail Packaging - Rose Gold

Just got mine 2 days ago AND it was NOT as expected. I was expecting something soft and hard but rubbery to protect my $800 Note 4 but NOOOO.... it's basically hard plastic ... nothing else except hard plastic which most likely will crack when dropped AND not protect my Note 4 ... all the while it is NOT worthy $33 I paid for it. I personally think it's only as good as the $9 plastic case I purchase last week too. So, what do I think?Not worthy of the $30+ AND the "metal" clip is not a really a metal clip ... it's actually like a hard plastic clip exactly the same as on the Spiegen which is small and WILL most likely break OFF when accidentally pushed on it. Then the case would be USELESS. I am returning mine. That's all I can say.So far, I have NOT found a note 4 case that's satisfying. There are either too cheap or ugly .. yeah UGLY!!!!!

So far so good. I've had this case for a little over a week and it's perfect. I am a little concerned with the kickstand breaking off. It seems like it could be a problem and I know from reading several other reviews it has been an issue. I had a similar case for my HTC DNA and this is pretty much the exact same case. My previous case did finally break after 2 years of service on the back where the 2 sections connect. The plastic clip that holds the sections together broke off. I noticed it's exactly the same clip on the back so I'll have to be careful when putting it together. This case doesn't add much weight or thickness to the initial phone, but of course it does make the phone bigger. I'll update if anything happens.

We have been happy with this product from previous purchases with the note 3 case, we did not have any problems. This is why we decided to get the same case for the note 4, but for some reason with the note 4 case which we bought about two months ago, my husband started complaining that it is coming part way to often. He takes it out of his pocket and he only comes out with half of it and there have been a few times where is phone almost drops from his pocket because of the case coming apart. Thankfully, I've not bought my case cause I was waiting for a purple one. Other wise, the Sam may have happened to me.

I like the feel and the stand, but the second half keeps getting stuck in my pocket whenever I pull it out. I like the design, so this flaw is not a deal breaker. This case is okay. I'm sure for the price, there are others out there with a more robust design.

I love the case and have no problems with it as others described. The case slides together tight and you have to help it snap together in the middle, but it hasn't come apart on me. I have even taken it off several times. Search for this case on YouTube if you want to see some nice reviews. The Kickstand is metal and held shut with a magnet. While the Kickstand is closed, it is almost flush with the case. The plastic case has a slight rubberized feel to it. I like it. I was using a Seidio Note 3 case on my last phone.My only complaint is that the seller Mintyland shipped me an old version of the case that doesn't have the updated mic cutouts on the bottom for the Verizon Note 4. One of the mic holes should be an oval to accommodate for the offset mic on the Verizon version. If you look this case up on Seidio's website, it shows an oval. I will have to drill the hole myself to expose my second mic on the bottom. Maybe if I would have ordered from the Amazon seller, I might have gotten the updated case.Other than that, I'm super happy with the case. I think the people complaining about the case coming apart aren't getting it snapped together probably or have a defective case and need a replacement. Mine's great!

Great case. I love the metal kickstand. Coming from a Spigen case that had the plastic kickstand break the metal one is engineered to last. Also compared to the Spigen I don't accidentally hit the power button or volume rocker as much as I used to. I can now feel when my fingers are on which buttons, so accidental pressing has been greatly reduced. My only complaint is that the two piece design tends to separate from time to time when I take the phone out of my pocket when I am sitting down and my pants grab the phone. Not horrible, but can be a little annoying at times.I'd also like to add that care should be taken when installing the case. The edges can get under a screen protector and cause issues. In my case it cracked the screen protector after it got between the protector and screen. With that said, pressing the center of the case to disengage the latch doesn't work. Grab the phone with your index fingers and thumbs on the edges of the case right where the two pieces come together and squeeze while pulling the two halves apart and you will be able to remove the case.

WARNING!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CASE UNTIL THEY FIX THE KNOWN ISSUES... I am a long time supporter of Seidio cases, They have always been great! I have always owned one dating back several years to the OG Droid. I bought another Seidio Surface case as recently as 1 month ago for my wife's HTC One M8 - That one was great too... This Samsung Note 4 case is CRAP! Really disappointing! Not sure if its a bad production run or a bad design or if Seidio cheaped out? Nowhere close to their usual standards. The Surface case for the Note 4 is noticeably cheap and flimsy, even the kickstand is not as robust as usual. but the worst part is the case is slightly too big and when u grip your phone it squeaks and cracks then comes apart in your hand... SO NOT OK! Basically not usable.. I called Seidio and straight up asked what the deal was and it was pretty clear from the reps response that they were aware of the issues, hopefully they will do a Ver 2 addressing this cheap POS... meanwhile she could only offer a refund and tell me she would pass along my feedback. For now stay away... you have been warned... I didnt listen to similar feedback and got burned... Can anyone reccomend a good case for my Verizon Note 4?? Thanks...

This case is thin, has a nice feel to it and is easy to install. It arrived on time and I'm very pleased with it as it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone.
