Organic Essiac Tea Packets

Quick delivery and product what I expected.

I have been using essiac tea to support my prostate for several years. I started with the 4 herb options then moved on to the 8 herb ones after reading it was better on the Sloan Kettering cancer hospital website. I've tried two other brands and tried this thinking it would be easier not to have to measure the tea out. Expensive mistake on my part. This looks and smells old. It tastes terrible. I have never had an issue with the others I've used - just with this. The quality control seems to be non-existent and there aren't even any oxygen absorbers. I also wanted USA herbs and the American flag on the bag in their ad photos fooled me - these are asia for certain and don't actually claim to be otherwise - just potentially'bagged' here. Well, that's not what I was looking for. I feel pretty dumb about wasting my money on this but oh well, I'm moving on.

This was for my father but he did not us all the packs. He said it took to long to cook and instruction had specific cooking ware to make the tea. He says it taste okay for tea.

Have a relative who uses this to stay in remission from cancer. Bought for them.

I ordered this because the brand I purchased before was unavailable ( optimally organic...powder OR tea bag cut ) at that time. This has the exact same 8 ingredients as the other brand. The other brand tasted OK... this stuff is so horrible… It’s hard to believe. It taste exactly like berberine! Which I know for a fact because I have berberine capsules. It is something that should never be tasted. Adding plenty of sugar does not help at all. BUT, with a little sugar, the optimally organic is good … And it definitely helps me with a problem I have with food getting stuck in my throat.
