I was surprised about the negative reviews. This is a small red deer skin and very nice. For comparison I took a picture beside a goat pelt. It looks great in front of my fireplace.

Very pleased with size and everything. Minimal shedding, they’re soft and feel expensive. My cat barfed on one right away and I was able to use my Shark mess master and it looks perfect. When you take them out of the bag, step on em for a bit and the edges will flatten out.

I’ve seen reviews that said this animal skin is just a goat from China. Honestly, it’s not super nice but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a really nice one. It’s just a decorative piece to go with a style I’m trying to create. It’s fine for the price

It’s made in China, Red Deer aren’t there in China, mostly Europe/Asia, but goat hides are everywhere in China. Fur’s too short and smooth for Red Deer, it’s more like goat. Deer is coarse, long and thick. Price seemed low for a Red Deer hide, but fits for goat. Also their size, 3.2*2.1 ft exactly fits a goat, deers are much larger (unless they are killing deer babies). Just make change description with same price? It looks nice! Why lie?

The hide is beautiful with a luxury feel to the pelt, also a rich color. What I need help with is how to work with cowlicks, there are a lot of them. Also concerning the smell. There are so many sites that address this problem and I decided to use charcoal, all natural.

I like this a lot and it’s a really good for a small surface area rug. Just aired out outside before you use it because it reeks horribly.

It was clean and folded neatly but the neck portion and at the folds it was crumpled so as you can see in the picture it has ridges still from unpacking, otherwise looks great out of the mail! Great in the basement where I put it
