Great game for the price! This is a “deck building” style card game in which you start with a weak personal deck of cards that you improve over the course of the game with better cards. (There are videos online that teach the basic mechanics of deck building games that I highly recommend if you’re not familiar with the genre.)There are short missions to accomplish and a mastermind villain that must be defeated four times to win the game. It can be played cooperatively with 2-4 players and points tallied at the end. Or the rules provide for solo play as well.The game comes with 600 cards, a rule book and best of all, a neoprene game mat. That’s a great value, because most game specific neoprene mats are typically a $20-$35 accessory.Game play is fast and a game can be completed in an hour or less. The “villain deck” you play against is designed with increasing difficulty levels providing an increasing challenge as the game progresses.The core game comes with four different “Bonds” and four different movies to play. Each movie actually has two different schemes to play giving you a total of eight different scenarios to play right out of the box! There are also three other expansions available that are sold separately.I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game in solo mode as well as playing “two-handed” with a “ghost player” to get the co-op feel for the game.This game is immersive for the James Bond fan, but also fun for anyone who has never seen the movies. All of the instructions are on the cards, so no prior knowledge of the Bond franchise is necessary.The game is made by Legendary who also makes similar games for other franchises such as Marvel. And according to the website, these games are somewhat compatible. Imagine dropping James Bond into the Marvel Universe!

Si eres un verdadero fan de 007 este es tu juego, es tipo construcción de mazo de cartas, algo complicado, el nivel de dificultad es alto, desde el primer escenario de Goldfinger algo difícil de pasar. las reglas aun tienen mucho por depurar.

Really enjoyed this game. Great theme and cards of high quality. Very challenging game which makes it so much fun. If Bond gets dressed, you want to play again immediately.

I love Legendary games and I love Bond. However, this set only features images from just four Bond films (Goldfinger, The Man With The Golden Gun, Goldeneye, and Casino Royale) and these sets are quite expensive. The expansion only provides images from just two of the more disappointing Bond movies (Licence To Kill and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service). I still bought both though.

I fell in love with legendary after playing at Gen con. My husband was not as much of a fan but said he’d try this version. So I purchased it for a Christmas present. He likes this version much better than the marvel version. He’s a big fan of 007 (also marvel) but he likes that this follows the movies better and feels more campaign like than the marvel edition. We’ve played a few times since Christmas and plan to play more this weekend. A great multi level/complicated deck building game. Definitely not for the casual gamer though.
