My last review I stated "was not as advertised" because it was not double-sided adhesive. I was sent a replacement instead of receiving a refund. I was out of town so by the time I realized it, I was stuck with one and able to return the other (based upon expiration return date). Anyway, I purchased a new phone dashboard holder for the car and it came with an additional sticky disk holder. Carefully, reading the instructions, I realized it is double-sided adhesive. The illustration showed how to remove both film coverings. I thought there was only one film to remove. So, so sorry. : ( THE DASHBOARD PAD MOUNTING DISK WORKS PERFECTLY!!! : )

With the weight of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I decided to mount my phone holder to the dashboard of my work truck, instead of the windshield. Since it’s the dead of winter in Washington DC I had to be thoughtful in the installation. I first got my dash board warm by running the defrost on high on my way into work. I placed the disk in my pocket to warm up, then washed the area well where I decided to place it. I used 2 alcohol wipes inspecting each pass for cleanliness. While the alcohol dried I put the disk on the heater vent for a few minutes then peeled the plastic off and stuck it where I needed it. I also had access to a 20 pound stainless steel bearing from a tunnel boring machine that could apply equal weight to the disk and when I wasn’t driving that day, rested this weight on it for the 24 hours that is required to cure. Needless to say, in the 3 days since installation and despite the extreme cold, and lousy roads in the capital, it is still holding. I’m happy with the purchase.

These sticky mount pads are life savers. As you all know, trying to mount a Cell phone or pad on your vinyl dashboard is a pain in the €#%^ (on your back side). So we give into secondary phone/pad holders (I.e. vent mounts, cup holder mounts, etc.) And with vinyl dashboards magnets are out of the question as well. But these sticky pads are the answers! They stick in both Hot and Cold temperatures. Not to mention that, trying to remove them leaves a sticky residue (that is very hard to remove). But that’s the good part, THEY DONT FALL OFF! So I recommend that you make a good decision where you’re going to mount them, before mounting. In summary I love them, my phone mount has never fallen off since I started using these sticky mounts. Just place them in your optimal location.

THIS is your answer. Clean the dash well where you want to install it, peel the tape backing off and stick it on. The double sided tape holds it securely and the new, smooth surface will hold the suction base of your holder well.

I think it was just my dashboard. Didn’t stick to my bumpy and slightly curved dash board. Although, the product is flexible. It wouldn’t stick even if I put my weight on it as it instructed.

Great for if the other mount ever just gives way and you need a replacement. Great universal fit.

L'ho usato per far attaccare la ventosa del supporto smartphone sul cruscotto, molto poroso, dell'auto. Avevo provato sei tipi di biadesivo ma nessuno è stato efficace. Questo ha funzionato da subito. Mi ha risolto un problema che era diventato irritante dato che sono abituato a tenere lo lo schermo dello smartphone ad una certa altezza e distanza in modo che possa utilizzarlo in sicurezza. Il costo penso che sia adeguato anche se può apparire un pò esagerato per quattro adesivi circolari di 11,5cm.
