Too complicated to set up
Got this for my mom who is going blind.. it is way too complicated to set up and from what I read in the manual can’t really be used with a cable box. Disappointed.

Not just novelty but functional
I guess my expectations were low, but we have an older tube T.V. in the upstairs den where the remote is starting to die. Certain buttons no longer worked. Knowing that the step-daughter likes to lose the existing one in the cushions and at times when the mother-in-law watches the son she has to search for it, this seemed like a good fit. Honestly it was easy to set up to work with the older equipment. Didn't take more than 10 minutes to set up. The 5 year old boy to the mother-in-law can operate this well. It's large and the guts are still about a traditional remotes components so it actually is light in weight compared to what you may think.

Not happy - can't connect to TV and cable box we have.
They have attempted to help but the fix is not working. We are having a younger person give it a try but may have to consider returning.
