Great size, quality construction, easy to set up.
This was a great pool for us all last summer. It was easy to put up and take down by myself and it was very sturdy. We will definitely put it up again this year. It was the perfect size for my daughter and I to lounge around and cool off, and the filter did a great job keeping up.

Great pool - Buy upgraded pump
GREAT POOL but I learned a few things the hard way so heed my warning! I bought this pool last summer. It was my first above-ground pool so I was inexperienced and I was impatient and put it up quickly. We put sand to level the low spots and installed the pool, which was super easy, and put the legs on cement pavers. Mistake! The sand shifted due to the weight of the water and caused some of the pavers to move a bit under the edge of the pool, causing a small pinhole, and the pool ended up a couple of inches unlevel anyway. I also saw all of the comments/reviews about upgrading the pump but didn't do that. The pump worked ok so I didn't bother, and again I was impatient and eager to get swimming. We patched the small pinhole and kept swimming until I took the pool down for winter. It takes about 30-45 minutes for my husband and I to put up and take down and we didn't want to mess with chemicals all winter or deal with winterizing (and I knew I needed a better ground leveling anyway). THIS YEAR I started early and paid someone to dig down (as little as necessary) to create a flat level circle where we wanted the pool. We put down a liner and installed the pool. We then used the cement pavers to put the legs on but dug them down so they were level with the ground. THIS IS WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE LAST YEAR AND I ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME AND DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS. I also noticed the pump that came with the pool isn't doing as well this year. It's weak and barely pulls things into the skimmer (purchased separately and also highly recommended). I purchased the upgraded pump. WOW - What a difference!!! I should have purchased it last year. It looks exactly the same as the pump that comes with the pool but is slightly larger but SO MUCH STRONGER! I can actually SEE the water moving around the entire pool and debris actually being 'sucked' into the skimmer. Recommended additional purchases: ***Upgraded Pump: Intex Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 1000 GPH Pump Flow Rate, 110-120V with GFCI (uses same tubes, connections as pump that comes with pool) ***Skimmer: Intex Deluxe Wall-Mounted Swimming Pool Surface Automatic Skimmer | 28000E ***Vaccum: POOLWHALE Portable Pool Vacuum Jet Underwater Cleaner W/Brush,Bag,4 Section Pole of 48"(No Garden Hose Included),for Above Ground Pool,Spas,Ponds & Fountains ***Extras needed: Skimmer socks, Chlorine Floater, 3" Chlorine Tablets, Pool Net, 7 in 1 pool water test strips. Notes for new pool owners: If you take a sample of your water to your local pool store, they will test it and tell you exactly what and how much of which chemicals you need to add. They will need to know that it's an above-ground pool and the size of it. You will learn to use the water testing strips to check every few days (once a week maybe) and when you see something off, you know it's time to take another sample to the pool place. And you also will start to learn what and how much you need to add on your own to maintain levels. Hope this helps other newbies like me!

The best backyard upgrade we've ever made!
If you're looking for a way to beat the heat without spending a fortune on a permanent pool, this Intex set is a total lifesaver. I was a little nervous about the setup, but the metal frame is actually really intuitive to put together. Once you have a nice level spot in the yard, it snaps together much faster than youโd expect. The size is perfect for our familyโat 10 feet wide, itโs big enough for the kids to actually swim around and for the adults to float and relax without feeling cramped. The steel frame feels incredibly sturdy even when the kids are splashing around, and the liner is thick enough that I don't worry about every little pebble underneath. Having the filter pump included is a huge plus. Itโs quiet and does a great job of keeping the water clear, though Iโd definitely recommend picking up a few extra Type H cartridges to have on hand for the season. It turned our backyard into the neighborhood hangout spot, and seeing how much use it gets every single day makes it worth every penny. If you want a "real" pool feel on a budget, this is definitely the way to go!

Excellent value, nice small pool, a few notes
The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I was somewhat disappointed at how short 30" really is. The photos are a little deceiving in that a grown man cannot stand up in this pool and have the water come to his hips. I'm 6' tall and the water doesn't even come up to my hips. I have small kids and this is mainly for them so its not a big deal, just something to be aware of. You can't really swim in this pool due to the shallow depth. I think of it more like a large hot tub with cold water. Its a nice option to have in a small back yard, we put ours on pavers with some outdoor carpet underneath. The frame is easy to assemble and seems well made. The liner seems good and sturdy. The filter pump that comes with this pool seems a little underpowered to me, but I upgraded that to a saltwater kit anyway which was also more powerful. Overall its a great kit, easy to setup, a nice option for a small yard and the price on Amazon is very good! It shipped fast and I can't really find much to complain about. A few observations or tips for others who might get this pool. First, make sure you absolutely triple check for rocks or other intrusive objects where you plan to put the pool. We double checked and swept and still managed to end up with two small rocks that ended up under the liner. They aren't sharp fortunately and won't damage the liner, but I sure wish we had checked a third time! Second, try to get the ground as level as possible. In my small yard it wasn't possible to put the pool on a totally level area, so there is a bit of an issue because we put the shallower end near where the water return hose connects, so the water level doesn't cover it as much as I would like. This made it difficult to leave the hoses just sitting there, since the weight of the water in the hoses makes the angle of the water return shoot upwards towards the surface. So if you are going to end up unlevel, make sure you put your hose ports on the deep end not the shallow end. The angle on my pool isn't drastic, but its just enough to create an inch or two difference between the two opposing sides of the pool. Also one last thing, when you start filling the pool, once you have an inch or less of water in the bottom, you should get someone inside the pool and iron out wrinkles. If you don't, you will end up like my pool and have creases all along the bottom of the pool. It would be better to stretch out the liner as much as you can. I did pull it out at the edges, but then I just let the water fill it and walked away. It isn't a functional problem, just something to be aware of.

Maybe $300 for an entire summer of pool
I set it up on the edge of my uncovered patio about a foot away from the grass to protect from the lawn mower. Easy to set up. I should have done a better job of making the bottom flat. I added the chairs just to help protect. The quality is very good. My 7 and 5 year old kick off the sidewalks and it does not rip. Sometimes they jump from the white poles and it holds up fine. I wouldnโt allow any heavier kids to do that. The foot of space from the grass was enough to set the pump and hoses down. I bought the intex cover, net, and vacuum hose attachment. The cover doesnโt work as well as Iโd hoped as it is not tight. It sags when it gets hot, too. The net and vacuum are a must. The pump runs once a day at the same time you originally turned it on. Only needs 4 hours a day. Very quiet. My 7 and 5 year old donโt need a ladder but it would be nice. I fill it to 24 inches at the โdeep endโ as my patio slopes down away from the house. You donโt want the birds to be able to sit at the edge and dip their beaks. I do a deep clean once a week where I add a new tablet, use the vacuum attachment, clean the filter with a hose. Takes an hour. The pool has given new purpose to my back yard. It doesnโt matter how hot it is outside. They can go outside and jump in. Pool with pump, net, vacuum, cover, and tablets and Iโm under $300. I will have to eventually buy more tablets and Iโm considering getting the 1000 gph pump with skimmer but this thing is so low maintenance Iโd be doing more out of intrigue. Plus the skimmer hangs on the edge and takes pool space away. Weโll see. Fun easy little project, kids love it, 4 adults fit easy, low maintenance.

Intex Has A Horrible Warranty
We bought this pool a couple weeks ago and just set it up as the heat has already started coming in. After spending hours prepping the area with TWO heavy duty tarps as well as leveling sand and setting up the pool we started to fill it and noticed some water coming from under the sides. We figured it was probably just the water that we had spilled out earlier when we turned on the hose but as we kept filling the water kept moving, slowly, but moving. As time went by we started to get worried so we turned off the water and started examining the pool for leaks. We found several small leaks (under 1 cm) all around the bottom of the pool when we examined it closely. They were barely noticeable but there nonetheless so we began the process of draining the pool. While my girlfriend was watching it drain I came inside and contacted Intex hoping they would be able to send us a new liner since this one clearly had way too many holes to patch them all. After giving them all of my information (which I'm sure they'll sell to some company or spam me) they told me that I would need to take off the liner and cut off large pieces of it to make it "inoperable" before they sent me a new liner. This blew my mind as not only did they expect me to go through extra effort to cut off these pieces but they wanted me to pay to ship them these pieces AND wait (probably) weeks to receive my new liner. I talked to my girlfriend about it and she agreed that it was ridiculous to have to go through all this when we could just return it to Amazon and buy another one. Now I know there's probably people in the world that scam their system and so they want to be sure you aren't "stealing" a back-up liner but this is just crazy. Not only did they expect me to pay even more money for something I already purchased and put together, but also disassemble it, do even more work, throw away the old liner (which will take up valuable trash space) and then wait for them to receive the items (hoping the post office didn't lose them) and then finally get a new liner which I'll again have to reassemble. I just can't wrap my mind around them thinking this is acceptable to do to customers but luckily Amazon made it right. Long story short Amazon handled the situation and now we're going to be buying a new brand (from Amazon again since they're great!). Overall I cannot recommend Intex but Amazon is definitely the place to buy a pool as they handled the situation wonderfully!

10x30 pool just perfect for two
This pool was easily to put together. I did take some energy though and muscle, but itโs perfect for one or two people that just want to soak easy maintenance. Loving in the pool.

Simple setup, works well with a little attention to detail.
Setting this pool up required no tools. You only need a little common sense and patience. I recommend reading through the assembly instructions completely one time before starting. Especially follow the directions on putting the frame together. It looks like it won't fit but if you make sure each preceding section is tightly pushed together it fits perfectly. Put the pool on the most level spot you can find. Even the slightest bit of slope can be an issue, especially when the kids start splashing around. The pump that ships with the pool is adequate for the pool; however, you should buy additional filters. If you have good water pressure, it's no problem to rinse most of the accumulated debris out of the filter several times before replacing it with a new one. We've been using the same filter for about 2 weeks. It has been cleaned every 2-3 days and I have replacement filters ordered. You'll know it's time to service the filter when the volume of water coming back into the pool is low. The schedule for servicing the filter will depend on how clean your water source is, how much debris has gotten into the pool in use, or how many leaves etc. drop into the pool. I strongly suggest using a cover on the pool when not in use. Even using city water we had to clean our filter by the second day of use because of the low return-water pressure. A note on the filter. This is a portable system. When you install or change the filter, air will get into the pump. The pump will not pump air. Turn the pump on and lift the hoses higher than the pump to allow the air to escape the pump chamber through the hose so the pump fills with water again. You may even need to reposition the pump to allow the air to escape through the hose. One caution on chlorine. A normal 3-inch chlorine tablet is designed to treat 10,000 gallons of water. This 10' x 30" pool holds a maximum of 1,500 gallons when filled to the brim. I estimate I have about 1,200 gallons in our pool at roughly 24โ depth. Itโs easy to over chlorinate the water, which will cause discomfort for swimmers and shorten equipment life. Additional equipment you may need includes filters, water testing/treatment kit, ladder and skimmer. If the pool is installed on a hard surface, you'll probably want a mat to go under to pool. I used artificial grass carpet from a local store.

Very fun! Easy to put together
I bought this for my kids who are 7, 8 and 15. It was a perfect size to fit us all. The water is only 2 - 2 and a half feet high. But it was perfect for when my 3 and 5 year old nieces came over. It was pretty easy to put together by myself but 2 people would probably be easier. The water filter works really well but I would recommend buying extra replacement filters and hosing the current one down every week.

Good pool
love this pool , the only thing I noticed is the top rail (pipes ) tend to mark up a bit if you hit them with a leave net. Also when disassembling, the liner sticks to the pipes and you have to break the seal (use a long thin pole or rod )to release the liner to take the pool apart otherwise a great pool

Love this pool
I bought this to replace my 8โ pool. This pool is exactly what I wanted! Perfect size for my patio and took half hour to set up. I love the look of it and it is much more durable than the one I had with the blow up ring.

Intex is the only way to go for reasonably priced above ground easy set up pool
Intex is the best pool ever. During Covid our pool had issued and we had to buy another brand which was okay but nothing beats the toughness of an intex pool . So many improvements this year too with them.
