Rustins Wood Dye White 250ml

This is brilliant used twice so far on semi planed softwood. Sooo pleased with the affect . Better than paint as the grain shows through.

I have never used White Wood Dye before, however anything that is wood now...I'm going down the dye route. Wife doesn't 100% like the effect, however the white wash showing the grains is a special look. Coverage is great, easy to apply yet a little difficult to wipe off, but the look..Impressed. And read the instructions first, as i first applied incorrectly.

I bought this for staining the frame of a mirror in my bathroom and although it goes on easy after cleaning a preparing the surface, the timber sucks up this stain like nobodies business, to the point where it almost disappears so I've had to apply four coats on what is a small project to get the result I was looking for. Would be interested to compare to other white stains as this is the first I have used.

I have used this before and love it! I took all my carpet up from my stairs and landings and used this to whitewash the wood. I eventually painted the stairs white but left the landings whitewashed only. Very good stuff :)

Nothing happened, very disappointed. It was supposed to be white but all it does to my wood is just a bit of shinning, where's the white colour??????

Produced test pieces so far good results. Good even finish if you know what you are doing

On bare wood it has little discernible effect. As much use as painting wood with skimmed milk.

Not effective; hardly any difference in previous brown tone.
