Logitech G G102 2nd Gen Light Sync Gaming Mouse, Wired, 8000 DPI, 6 Programmable Buttons, RGB, Black

This mouse was much better than I expected for the price. It works smoothly and looks sleek. Packaging was not excessive but seemed sturdy enough to protect the mouse in transit. I'm glad it had mostly plain cardboard, minimal size, and minimal plastic. The RGB lighting is easy to control in Logitech's GHub app. (GHub is a pretty big app, but I like the level of control it offers, so I kept it.) You can also use the mouse controls in Windows, but the options are more limited. If I remember correctly, I couldn't adjust the brightness in Windows, so decided to stick with GHub. On Linux, I use Piper (quick and light installation: "sudo apt install piper" on Ubuntu, Debian, and Linux Mint), and it does almost everything GHub does, except I can't seem to remove sensitivity (DPI) options. That means I have to cycle through all four options when only I need two, three maximum. That's not a major issue; it's just a little disappointing not to have total control. Anyway, my favourite feature is the sensitivity (DPI) selection button. It's super handy to be able to quickly switch from speedy to accurate mousing at the touch of a button. The shape is also comfortable, but it is pretty low. It's also fairly long, as you can see in comparison to my work laptop mouse, the Logitech M705. Still, it suits me for my desktop setup at home. The cable is pretty thin, but is smooth and plenty long enough. I have it routed behind my desk to my PC on the floor. I had a wireless mouse (Razer Black Mamba), but this is a fine replacement, as I don't really need wireless on my desktop. My Razer mouse was only a couple of years old and the wheel had already started playing up, randomly zooming in and out. I tried fixing it, but it's not really built for being repaired. After my repair attempt, the right button also started to play up and the battery didn't hold its charge as long. That mouse was over double the price of my new G102, but I'm much more satisfied with this new one. As long as it keeps working well, I'll be happy. If anything goes wrong, I'll update this review.

I've been using this for years and it's honestly the best mouse I've ever had. I use it for both everyday work and gaming and it handles both perfectly. The build quality is excellent, the ergonomics are spot on, and the size is just right. Light enough for long sessions without any fatigue. The two side buttons are a game changer for everyday browsing. I have them set to go back and forward in Chrome and after a while you can't imagine using a mouse without them. The speed adjustment button in the middle lets you switch DPI on the fly, and the responsiveness is fantastic whether you're working or in the middle of a game. The RGB looks great and it feels like it'll last many more years. Simply the best, highly recommend.

Fantastic mouse for simple gaming and regular use. Solid. High value for dollar imho. This is not a high-end gaming mouse with many buttons. If you are competitive, get a higher-end mouse. Great for what it is.

Great product, easy to use. I got mine in black and it fits perfectly in my hand. It’s a great bang for your buck and I love the functionalities that the mouse has.

its an absolute steal in terms of price to what you get for features and response time. However, beware of the scroll wheel as i have purchased 3 of these and all of the scroll wheels have had issues after use about a year or less after purchase

Good mouse but the sensors glitch when I glide my mouse to fast.

Works well as a mouse. By default, one of the side buttons will adjust the DPI, which threw me off. I disabled that in the settings. The colors are fun.

Pretty good mouse the price to the quality is pretty decent, good response time pretty accurate.

it was good for a couple of months but the wire is small and easy to cut which can make the mouse disconnect every time u move the wire. if u want to buy this mouse make sure to becareful with moving ur mouse and the wire.
