Purrfect Portal Meow Manor® Cat Door Interior Door - No-Flap, Fits Cats Up to 20 lbs, Easy DIY Setup, No Training Needed

I got this to allow my cats access to the room I feed them in and keep my dog out of their food. This was a perfect solution. One of my cats uses this even when the door is open all the way. It was easy to install (if you have a little carpentry experience) if you have the tools to do so, like a jigsaw. The template it came with worked great. It is nice that it came with a catch to keep it open and a latch to lock it so the cats can't go through if you don't want them to. It is also pretty stylish looking. I am not sure how well it will work on a hollow core door, but I will find out soon. I have a second I will install in another door. I will update my thoughts on this after I get it installed. It is constructed of plastic but good quality materials that seem sturdy. I love it.

It’s easily to install if you have the right tools. We were too lazy and cheap to go out and buy the right saw for it so we diy a bit to cut the hole out of our door. Honestly that’s the part that took the most time for us (1 hour). But putting on the frames and everything shouldn’t take you any more than 5 mins. So if you have the right tools and a door that can easily come off unlike ours that’s glued to the hinges. I can guarantee you will have an easier time than us. It’s pretty safe and does the job. The frame is very sturdy and stay in place. I also love the lock. You can just turn the handle. I have a medium sized cat (13lbs) and he fit through it just fine. Finally I can rest in peace without having this punk screaming on top of his lung to get out or in the bedroom. The frame and the door looks nice and makes my bedroom door more interesting.

Easy to install and it looks great! Our dogs can not enter the room and eat the cat food anymore. Yay!

I love this door. It was fairly easy to install but does require a saw so may not be for everyone. It's adorable. It can be shut to keep kitty in or out. I didn't install the magnet to keep the door open. I didn't feel we needed it. I think the value exceeds the price. It is plastic but sturdy.

Easy installation if you have the proper tools. Took about 15 minutes and that included taking the door off the hinges and putting it back. We have a 16 pound cat and he fits easily. Looks great. Love how the door locks if needed. The door attaches when you want it to stay open for the cats to go in and out.

My husband and I wish we knew this cat door existed a long time ago. We put an addition onto our home whereas our master bedroom is on the first floor, located on the opposite end of our home. As you enter our bedroom there is a set of French doors leading to our backyard. If we need to shut our door for privacy, there was always the problem of having to keep the door open slightly or "answering the door" when our cat Mango needed to come in. We also happen to have Mango's litter box and feeder in our master bathroom (yup, not planned and we didn't even have any pets until after the addition was built). We don't mind "sharing" our bathroom with Mango, and our bed lol as we love him so much. He usually doesn't really need to get to his feeder or litter box when we need to shut the bedroom door, but as soon as the door is shut he scratches to come in and checks out what's going on, then he wants to leave again and come back in etc.. so getting this cat door has been a game changer!! It is actually a beautiful and functional cat door that was easy to install. It has not only solved our issues with wanting to keep the door shut without worrying about our cat's access needs, but he finds the door to be a fun "stakeout" area to look out for "potential predators" of which there are none🤦😺. The price is also very fair for the quality you get. One more asset is the ability to lock the cat door when needed....as when we have to keep the French doors open to carry something outside etc.

I bought the Meow Manor to create a safe zone for our cat's food and litter box, away from our overly curious dog. I’m happy to say it works perfectly for that. The design is genuinely adorable and looks much nicer than a basic cat flap. Our 15-pound cat had no hesitation and used it immediately without any training needed. Best of all, it has successfully kept our dog out of the cat's area. The installation was fairly simple, mostly thanks to the helpful paper template that comes in the box. The whole project took under 30 minutes. My only minor hang-up was when I cut the opening in our hollow core door. The inside edges were a little splintered and rough, so I had to take a few extra minutes to clean that up before the frame would fit smoothly. It wasn't a major problem, but something to be aware of. The little locking door is a great feature that I use more than I expected, especially when vacuuming. Overall, this is a fantastic product that solves a common pet-owner problem in a charming way.

Love it! Super easy to install and our fur baby gets in and out with no problem. Great way for us to keep the basement door shut while having an access point for her to get downstairs. It’s made really well and looks great.

Its a good door. Very cute but unfortunately,its larger than I hoped and my Frenchie (the reason for getting a cat door) can actually squeeze through and get to the bins and cat litter. So if you are worried a big cat wont fit? I guarantee it will!

Ordered two from Amazon Australia knowing this was a USA product but thrilled when it arrived in less than two weeks. Couldn’t be more pleased with the cat doors. Brilliantly designed and constructed, right down to the door open holder having a self adhesive backing to help you position it before screwing to the door. We have 5 cats of varying sizes and only our enormous Tom has so far refused to use it. Suitable for all sizes up to “I’m really a large raccoon” cat. Installation is very easy and, beyond needing a jigsaw and a screwdriver, the hardest part is taking your doors off their hinges to make it easier to work on them. Our doors are typical “budget” hollow panel doors with a wooden frame and cardboard packing and the design of the cat doors works well even with non-solid doors as the bottom screws on each side go into the wooden frame. Where (and if) the top screw is simply going through a thin moulded panel just tighten slowly and gently. There’s no need to torque it up with any of the fixings. The recessed screw holes; the soft rubber hole plugs; the open door holder …. everything is just so well thought of. It might only be a plastic cat door but it’s such a pleasure to buy and receive something that is so well designed and works without customisation. Well done to Lisa and her team. I hesitate to add feedback in case it’s taken as criticism (because it isn’t) but the cut-out template - another great idea and much better than trying to draw around the inside of the door - creates a hole that’s very generous so be careful not to cut outside your marker line or you’ll have no door left to screw into. You can cut slightly inside the marker line and still have ample room. The second “warning” is that the new door frame fits with a flange that sits butted against the bottom of the door so it is not entirely flush with you door’s bottom edge. So, you’ll need to be sure that your door has a 2-3mm gap between it and your flooring but most do anyway unless you’ve later added carpet or tiles that fill that gap. I can’t be more pleased with our doors. If you like the look of them and are considering buying, don’t hesitate!
