If you read the specs you will see that operating is 200 amps and start surge is 1000 amps

Can it be used on a car?

Can you use done anything with 12 or 24 volt

Why does the stated Caution statement say only attach to the negative side of the battery? Are these not safe for the load side for heat or something?

Less chance of arcing unless there is a draw ! Negative works well either way breaking the cycle on neg or positive will stop the draw
