Help children understand their emotions, build empathy, and learn the words they need to express themselves. A little book about BIG feelings. Aah, the sloth is feeling relaxed. Review: Simple. Durable. Fun. Beautiful! - A wonderful little book that packs a punch with character, and essential exposure to the gamut of human emotions -- using cute animal illustrations to deliver the message! My 4yr-old son loves reading this with our 6-month old baby girl. Wonderful illustrations, and engaging colors :) Review: Beautifully illustrated and thoughtfully written. - Such a gorgeous and emotionally intelligent children’s book. The illustrations are cute and modern - captivating for all ages. My husband and I both noticed our four year old son talking to himself about different animals and emotions after reading. The simplicity of the book seems to stick in his young mind, which I love!

Builds emotional intelligence
This book is very helpful in building emotional intelligence in children. The difference between “how to raise emotionally intelligent children” and “happy puppy, angry tiger” is that your child is reading it and realizing the concepts for themselves in real time. It brings emotional intelligence to a level a child can understand. I’m a PA in psychiatry and have recommended this book to parents of my patients along with using it for my own children. I saw improvement in my 3yo after the first time reading it. I would recommend to any parent trying to improve their child’s emotional and mental health.

all the feelings 💛
This book is the perfect way to talk to kids about their feelings and to help them recognize the feelings of others. And the illustrations are darling. After loving our copy we have already gifted to friends—I thought it was perfect little gift for the older sibling of a newborn (big changes can often bring about big feelings).

Love love love!
I’ve followed betsy’s work for a long time and have gotten a lot of the stuff she has produced. We have her feelings cards which has a lot of the same characters so I was worried this would be too similar. But it’s honestly the perfect book and my 3 year old loves reading it! It’s different enough from the cards and we’ve now added it to our rotation of board books!
