Tom's of Maine Natural Children's Fluoride-Free Toothpaste, Silly Strawberry, 4.2 Oz(Pack of 3)

When it comes to getting a 4 yr old to brush his teeth we all know the battle quite well. We'd been using a different kind of fluoride free toothpaste but I was looking for one that actually looked like "real" toothpaste so he'd get used to it. Besides, the price of the other toothpaste for a not even 2 oz tube is so much more than this toothpaste and the tube will last so much longer. He loves the strawberry flavor and I didn't dislike the flavor when I tasted it, either. Getting him to brush his teeth still isn't the easiest thing but at least when I do get him started with the process he tells me it tastes good and he keeps going without problems. I still finish the job and make sure it's all done and his favorite part is when we brush his tongue with the "yummy toothpaste"!

The kids like this stuff a lot. I have a 2 and 3 year old and they like this. We tried switching before because the brand our kids likes was expensive. The kids didn't like the new brand which makes it a little more difficult to get them to brush. After trying this brand my daughter (3 year old) started grabbing this one before the old tube of stuff she liked was finished. Bingo we have a winner. With the Fluoride Free they can swallow it and its ok. These tubes are also full size, not the small childrens size so its a pretty good deal for 3 of them. Also got the "RADIUS Pure Baby Toothbrush for 6 months +, Ultra Soft Bristles (3 Pack)" toothbrushes and couldn't be happier. The kids don't run out of the bathroom after showers/bath now, they ask to brush their teeth.

Missed the part about it being floride free. My kids are older now and need the floride. BUT, when they were younger this was a good toothpaste and my kids loved the flavor.

My kids really like this toothpaste, and it doesn't have potentially harmful flouride they can swallow. Very mild flavor for the pickiest kids. No mint, just slightly sweet strawberry flavor. However, as an adult I don't likeit because I like strong mint flavor and thus it doesn't feel like your teeth are as clean when you use this. I think that is just in my mind, however, as a dentist once told me that the mint or other flavor doesn't clean your teeth, the active ingredients do like baking soda.

Love this toothpaste!

This toothpaste is a winner for kids! Fluoride free is what we were looking for and after a few less than favorable reviews from my kids on other choices this was received with excitement in our home. Our toothbrushing is now a time to look forward to and my kids love to brush as much as possible because the taste is great:) From a Mommy's point of view it cleans well too. I like the feel of this toothpaste as well as the results. It is simply made and works well. My children teeth are going on strong with no cavities :)

Our child has consistently used an older formula of Toms silly strawberry. Unfortunately, we ran out and ordered this. Immediately; she complained. She said it tasted awful. Now, we have sobbing tears each time she brushes her teeth. She says this is the wrong kind. I compared and we ordered the same. I hope Toms of Maine sees this review and goes back to the previous formula. Now, we are struggling with brushing day and night.

I had been looking for a safe toothpaste that could replace my previous brand. I wanted a change for several reasons. I was concerned at the bright blue artificial color. My kids are 3,5 & 9 and don't always fully rinse their toothbrushes. By the next time they brushed, the bristles were rock hard. It also didn't rinse easily from sink. Which led me to question, how well if it rinsing from their teeth??? This toothpaste rinses clean, doesn't have a bright florescent coloring, and my kids love the taste. I tried it too and it has a light pleasant strawberry taste. I love that I feel good and it is not difficult to rinse.

Excelente crema dental sin floruro y con un ligero sabor a fruta. No tiene colorante y a los mis hijos les gustó.

Kids love it. Dentist said how good my kids teeth look, but went quiet when I told him we use fluoride free. Oh well, it works, and kids never complained about taste of it. Also I'm not worried if they manage swallow some, since it contains no fluoride. Will buy it again.
