accurate with 2 trays!!
I recently bought an accurate food scale, and it’s been a game-changer in my kitchen. Whether I’m portioning ingredients for a recipe or tracking my macros, it provides precise measurements every time. The digital display is clear and easy to read, even in low light, and the tare function makes it super simple to subtract the weight of containers, which is perfect for meal prep. One of the things I love most is how consistent it is—each time I weigh something, the scale gives the exact same result. It also has a nice, sleek design that doesn’t take up much space, making it easy to store when not in use. It’s definitely made my cooking and dieting more accurate and stress-free. For anyone looking to improve their kitchen precision, especially if you need something for portion control or baking, this scale is an affordable, reliable option that gets the job done perfectly.

Tiny titan
I love this little scale. It comes with two plastic covers, neither of which is much use except as a tray for holding items on top of the scale, but at least they are useful for that. The scale uses two AAA batteries, which I prefer to button cells because I can use rechargeable batteries. It turns on very quickly, and if you have a tray on top when you press the power button, it starts with the tray already tared. I mainly use it for masses up to about 100 grams (4 ounces), and only tested it for accuracy up to 10 grams, but it was spot on at that range. It seems to work well near its claimed 3-Kg (6.6 lb) capacity but I can only roughly confirm its accuracy at the high end. Highly recommended, at least for small weights.

Scale needed recalibrating 2 weeks after purchase. Free replacement scale has worked great.
My husband and I do a good amount of baking and this scale was purchased to help us get more exact measurements of ingredients than volume would allow. This scale arrived quickly and filled its purpose well. It is small (the weighing surface is less than 5 inches in either direction) but we can easily fit a mixing bowl on top, hit the Tare button to zero it out, and add flour, salt, etc. until we have the amount specified by our recipes. It's made a huge improvement in our bakes and baguettes turned out perfect for the first time ever since obtaining this scale! Super exciting... ...until the scale started acting weird 2 weeks later. It would often give an error code of "UnSr" and the numbers would dance around up and down by about 5 grams in either direction. Not only was it inaccurate, but the I chose this scale among the many available for several reasons: 1) It is of an intermediate range. We don't want a tiny one for jewelry or weed, since we often need to measure 500 grams of flour at a time. Yet we also didn't need a large kitchen scale with a 5kg capacity. This one was somewhere in between, just right. 2) We liked the increment of 0.1gram. Again, not super precise, but also more fine than the kitchen scales with 1gram accuracy. This is ideal when measuring spices. 3) Finally, I decided to buy from AMIR because they are responsive to negative reviews (indicating good customer service) and their scales come with a 45-day money back guarantee, plus a 1 year warranty. Well, I wasn't totally disappointed. I wrote to AMIR's support email and received prompt replies less than 12 hours later. They apologized for the trouble, acknowledged my disappointment, and took full responsibility. They offered a replacement scale. I am always happy to work with companies like this that stand behind their products and truly want their customers to have a good experience. They and I believe this unit was defective as it really should not have required recalibration so soon after receiving it. So now I have a new scale of the same model. I am pondering whether I should buy the 2000g/2kg calibration weight it needs, as those cost around $25 or more than 2X what the scale did or attempt to fashion my own calibration weight somehow. I am hoping it won't require recalibration for quite a while, so we'll see. This replacement scale has worked great and I have not gotten the error code since. It has become an essential part of our kitchen equipment.

Durable. Accurate. Fractions of a gram.
I’ve used this scale for many years. The first one has lasted well over 25 years. I particularly like that it reads in fractions of a gram or fractions of an ounce. The Tate function helps in adding ingredients to a bowl. Nice small size does not take up counter space. Have used to fractions of a gram up to about 5 lbs of flour.

I cannot imagine my life before this particular scale
Why did you pick this product vs others?: price Scale accuracy: 0.1 g Battery life: changed factory batteries 2 months ago after 4 years of use Functionality: bought this for my home coffee bar Build quality: I forgot how much I paid for this item but it is within range if this particular sale. I never4 had a problem and still operating strong. I changed the factory battery once about couple of months ago. I paid $13 pr $14 as an experiment in precise dosing of coffee and it turned to be an investment. I strongly support the company which made this product for they did a heck of a job and deserve to be credited

Awesome Espresso Scale/Awesome Value
I have been incredibly impressed with this scale which I have been using to measure my espresso shots. Since my espresso machine has a built-in shot timer, I didn't need a timer that included that functionality. The size is perfect and sits cleanly on the drip tray of my Breville Dual Boiler espresso machine. And since the scale is so thin, I can easily fit my mug on top of the scale with plenty of room beneath the portafilter spouts. The display has a blue backlight and is very easy to read. The buttons provide solid and snappy tactile feedback. The weight measurement is very quick and has no issue keeping pace with the flow of an espresso shot to a 0.1 gram accuracy. It also comes with 2 sizes of trays which have come in very handy. This is a tremendous value if you don't need an integrated timer. Highly recommend.

Reliable
Reliable scale with a wide range of weights it can handle. It's easy to switch between units and it doesn't eat batteries; I've used this occasionally for about 4 years and have not had to change the batteries yet.

Just big enough to be useful and small enough to tuck away
I really like the compact size of this kitchen scale, it is small enough to pop in the drawer without cluttering it up and big enough to fit my Pyrex jug that I use for cooking. In the images you can see the pyrex jug on the unit before and after pushing the tare button. The device measures in g / oz / ozt / dwt / ct / gn (I don't know what half of those are), I generally use the grams function as most Australian recipes call for grams. This is going to be handy for those international recipes that use other measures and I will be able to weigh it out in the original measure without having to calculate it in grams via google or the like. The quality of the unit is good for the price, the buttons feel a little bit cheap, but the overall construction quality is good. The weigh pad comes with a hard shell plastic cover and there is another plastic hardshell that covers the whole top of the device which doubles as a container to weigh in. Overall a great buy and I recommend this product.

Compact scales good for coffee making as well as normal stuff
Purchased for use with my Breville Bambino Plus coffee machine to weigh coffee grinds and extractions - fits perfectly on the drip tray. Compact size means it doesn’t take up any storage space at all, it’s light weight and has a fast start up time. Comes with a couple of handy clear weighing trays for things like spices. It’s a set of scales - it weighs things!

Not good for low weights, less than 5grams for example
Although it is sold as a 0.1g scale, most of the time you will add 1-2 maybe even 3 grams, before it even registers. Probably good for 10g+
