The Art of Finding Dory (Disney)

I have practically all of the 'Art of" Disney books and they have never disappointed me. They are thorough and very well laid out. The one is no exception. Although it is pretty much along the lines of the Finding Nemo book there are new characters in Finding Dory which are very well described and illustrated in the book. I think animation lovers will appreciated this book.

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my daughter. I ran into an issue with my mail carrier not delivering it. This seller was so quick to respond, so kind and not only took care of the issue, but went above and beyond! The book is beautiful and I know she’ll be so happy to open this Christmas morning. Will definitely buy from this seller again!

I love all the "Art of..." books! It's full of wonderful sketches and concept art for each character and environments. I collect these as inspiration and technique studies for my own artwork. A great gift for an aspiring artist or anyone to liked the movie!

Beautiful book. Very nice quality. Great deal for the price. My son loves Finding Dory so I can't wait to show him this book as he gets older!

I love these Art books, when I'm a fan of the movie it's based on. This came down to a great price and I impulsively bought it even though I liked the Finding Nemo movie much more than this sequel. But the artwork I loved equally.This book feels thrown together and not as well thought out as other "The Art of" books. The flow of the book feels disjointed and a lot of the artwork feels redundant or irrelevant sometimes -- like there wasn't a large amount to delve into, so the final product was limited by the source material and the flexibility to mold this The Art Of book into something better wasn't there.As it stands, the book itself is beautifully made and of high quality. I just dinged it a star due to disappointing content in places.

This books art is beautiful and as an animator, it's always nice to get a look on the inside of what the big companies are doing as far as production. I love this book and the discussion on the use of shapes through the movie. Highly recommended.

My older teen (artistic) daughter identifies a lot with Dory due to some health issues that had taken some of her memory away. I thought this was a great way to cheer her up for her birthday. Beautiful art work!
