Are these intrinsically safe

Intrinsically safe is a technical term that means it is safe to use in locations that have explosive and flammable vapors present. I assume you knew that, and work in such a place, but wanted to come right out and say it just to be absolutely sure. I would be surprised if these were indeed intrinsically safe. I certainly would need assurance from the manufacturer about it, before I risked my life to find out. I work in such a place, so I'm probably more picky about it than most.

Do these have a volume limiter?

Yes, you can control the volume with these earbuds. The three yellow buttons you see in the picture: Top button, volume up. Middle button, Power/pause. Lowest button, volume down.

do these work with replaceable plugfones foam ear inserts rather than the tiered silicone inserts?

These do not have the replaceable tips. If you look into the Liberates they are out Bluetooth line with the replaceable tips you could put foam on.

How do i pair this device to the samsung s9. i'm reading the instructions the phone is scaning and visabilty is on

Press and hold the power on button until it goes into pairing mode. Then it should just show up when your phone is searching for bluetooth devices
