Doesnโt shrink, can be used to fill deep gouges in wood and corners in high end furniture and pianos. Takes stain and paint. Can be used to replace carvings in furniture and wooden statues Can be used to fill screw holes in cabinets and doors. Cures within the hour. A must have for all DIYers. A very well made product.

Great Product.
Love this..its easy to use,and you get great results . I use it for my art projects, decorating gourds, and making ornaments. This sets very quickly, so you only have about 30 minutes to work with it. Excepts acrylic paint with ease. Great for use in any craft project. Highly recommend..

Strong Epoxy
Easy to use, just knead it in your hand. The smell is a little strong, but it cures really fast. My only complaint is that it is workable for less than 5 minutes. I didn't look at my watch when I was using it but I would say 3 minutes is at the high end of the workable time. I was able to tap and drill the material shortly after, so no major complaints.

Love this product!
I am a professional furniture painter and have a fair share of refurbishing and repair to do on much of my product before they can be painted. I have tried several other products that claim to behave like wood..they don't, and they also tend to crack and shrink. Quickwood does a great job, and I have even used it to rebuild parts of legs that have broken off on some of the Jacobean peices on which I have worked. It dries quickly, and dries hard. It's a little tricky to work with until you get the feel for it, and it does smell a bit, but it's worth it to me to deal with the smell because the finished product is so sound. It has a good working time, too. You simply slice off the amount you want from the tube, mix it together to activate, and then start shaping it. I order from Amazon every month or so, and have made it a habit to order 2 tubes with each order. I don't want to run out as it doesn't seem to be available locally. I buy the natural color, or sometimes the darker wood if I need color to show through the paint I am using. I have tried staining with it, and it does not take stain the way wood does, so find that matching the color closest to what I need is the best bet. I think if I were to use this on antiques that I am not painting, I would probably paint it with diluted oils to match the wood grain, rather than try to stain it to match. Good product!
