In this set you get an excellent variety of brushes to apply your makeup with. There are 3 brushes that are dual ended. As make makeup enthusiast I was particularly pleased with that. Although the brushes don't have numbers printed on them, to tell you what each individual brush is used for. EmaxDesign does include a reference card with a picture of each brush on one side and on the other side, there is a list that explains what each brush is. When I received the brushes they did have a chemical odor, which doesn't bother me. I have had more than one set of makeup brushes arrive like that. I think it's because they spray them with something to keep them protected while in storage and during the shipping process. It's an easy fix to that anyway. Before you wash them just remove them from their protective plastic sleeves and let them sit for 2-3 days and then wash them. I know we all want to try out our new makeup toys right away (pretty much as soon as we open the box) but trust me, just try it. Sometimes just washing them instead of letting them sit first may cause you to have to wash them more than once or twice to get rid of the smell. Set Includes: 1. Foundation Brush 2. Eyeshadow Sponge 19. Mascara Brush 20. Ultra-Fine Liner These brushes really surprised me. I didn't expect them to perform like they do. They are very soft and glide nicely across my skin. My favorites are the foundation brush, the angled eyebrow/eyeshadow brushes and the ultra fine liner. The angled brushes are really firm. I was able to clean up around the top and bottom of my brows easily with out the brush slipping and going through my brows instead along the edges of them. Plus they were great to trace my brows with my pomade before filling them in. The ultra-fine liner works amazingly well for applying gel eyeliner. I'm not that great at doing that, but it was lot easier and I did a better job of it with the liner brush from this set. I also really like the size of the handles especially on the smaller brushes. They are very slim and easy to maneuver in your hands. It really makes flipping the dual ended brushes around in your fingers easier. I like pretty toys and these are lovely looking. I like the shiny black ferrule and the handles are matte black. Sleek, stylish and look more expensive then they are. I'm really happy with them. And even though I got these in exchange for my honest review. I'm being completely and totally honest. If these were just okay or not good at all. I would tell you. I look to customer reviews when I'm shopping on Amazon too. The quality of these brushes are great and I like the results I get when I use them. They clean well and the ferrules are as tight as a drum on every single brush. I'm ordering a backup set. Cleaning Tip: Don't soak or submerge your brushes in water or brush cleaner. It will make your ferrules loose and cause mildew. Wash them with the hairs pointing downward under the tap and squeeze the water out also while pointing the brush downward. If you don't have a drying rack. Lay them on a towel to dry. Don't put them in a cup right side up to dry because that can cause mildew also. I'm not a beauty guru or expert. Love these brushes. Small to medium angle brushes are my favorite brushes to use for eye shadow. But I'm to lazy to clean them every single day, I like to clean them every few days or even once a week. So with sets like this I get to use a clean brush every day. I put this set on my Christmas list because I need just a few more to have as back up in case I need to go more than a week between brush cleanings. The bristles are compact, which is how I prefer them. I don't get any fall out and the colors are applied evenly. They are compact, but each individual one is soft so they have the right amount of give, if that makes sense. They're not too stiff. And I've been using them for several months and not even a single strand has fallen out. Which is good because even though I know the right way to clean and dry makeup brushes, I'm not as delicate with them as I should be. Because I treat my brushes a little rough when I clean them I can't see spending crazy amounts of money of speciality high-end brushes. I've been putting on my makeup with moderate to great success for over 20 years and I've used the expensive brushes in the past. I'm very particular and I like these brushes better than the name brand ones. There is no difference in the quality and I don't feel like I have to treat these like Faberge eggs. I absolutely love how they feel and work and clean up. The only two things I would change about them is the length and labeling. My brush holder is a 5" spinning paint brush holder and it works great for some of the brushes. My back-up brush holder is slightly over 4" tall and some of theses brushes get lost in there as well and I have rocks in the holder to keep the brushes from sinking to the bottom. I'd like to see these brushes be closer to 6" in length each so I they can fit in most upright brush holders. The other thing that could use improvement is I wish each brush were labeled. The set does come with a legend, basically a card with pics of each brush and what it used for. While a card is nice, it's not very practical to have to refer back to a guide. Why not just label each brush with what it is? Even if each brush were numbered and the numbers corresponded to the card would be an improvement.

I just received my brush set. I was thrilled to receive them!! I opened the box and began to unsleeve them. First impression is they are really nice and attractive.the bristles are soft yet not overly soft. They have substance to them. While removing them from their sleeves I noticed that one rush had bristles barely sticking out of the end of the ferul. I thought this was odd so I looked at the card to see which one this could be. Not identify able at all, so I VERY gently, barely eve, gave the bristles a slight move... at this point the bristles jus slid out and went everywhere. Notice the pic... That was my MAJOR disappointment of these brushes. I did figure out that it was the flat-top shadow brush and that particular brush is the MAIN one that I was looking forward to trying out. So I get to use all but the biggest motivation for purchasing this set. Thus far I have used a brush cleaning/disinfecting spray to give them an initial clean and the rest seem fine. No bristle loss detected I that process. In conclusion, I gave this 4 stars for the following reasons. 1. The time from order to in hand was excellent. Total props for that. 2. Overall I think these brushes will be great. 3. I deducted a full star rating simply for the brush That I can't use. Can I still recommend these brushes??? Yes, because nothing is perfect and can have a problem from time to time. I'm going to contact the seller to see if they are willing to replace the one brush. I hope this review helps.

Come si intuisce dall'immagine, i pennelli sono tutti abbastanza piccoli, tranne uno, e perciò, anche se sono 20, non coprono tutta la gamma di pennelli di cui una persona potrebbe aver bisogno per truccarsi. Se questo set costasse tanto, cioè avesse un costo allineato con i vari set di pennelli che si trovano in commercio, forse non lo consiglierei... ma siccome costa così poco, e la qualità dei pennelli è buona.. perché no? Io non sono una professionista e ammetto che alcuni dei pennellini non li sto proprio usando, per il semplice fatto che sono pennelli "di precisione" (adatti a realizzare linee sottili, ecc.) e io non realizzo quasi mai su me stessa make-up così elaborati. Insomma, alcuni pennelli sono un po' "ridondanti",.. se non siete dei professionisti, forse vi sembreranno tutti uguali! Ma, appunto, costano così poco, e se sapete che anche solo due o tre di quei pennelli vi servono... ne vale già la pena! I pennelli "sfumini" per gli occhi sono quelli che ho apprezzato di più perché sono abbastanza rigidi e risultano ottimi per stendere gli ombretti in crema. Non si rovinano se lavati. Un'altra cosa molto comoda è la dimensione dei pennelli (lunghezza e spessore del manico): sono sottili e abbastanza corti, non tolgono spazio utile nella trousse quando si viaggia!

I brought these makeup brushes as I wanted to expand my collection without having to break my bank account, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these brushes. The set arrived with clear instructions on how to clean and care for the brushes, which was both insightful and informative. I have now tried the majority of these brushes, which are absolutely great. The bristles seem sturdy, and do not feel like they will break off anytime soon. Each of the brushes are extremely soft, which is perfect for applying makeup to delicate areas of the face (like under the eyes). I really like the fact that there are vast amounts of the same brush in this set (with a few of them varying in size) as this means I am always prepared for whatever I need to do with my makeup. I have also washed these brushes, which was pleasantly easy. The bristles stayed secure, and dried quickly too. I would get this kit again, and I would recommend it to any person either just beginning out with makeup, or looking to hone in on one specific area on the face to perfect their makeup skills.

These brushes are so amazing for value, they are smaller than average brushes, but still enough length. Have held up really well after multiple washes and uses.
