Segotep 650W - SG750G Initial thoughts: Be sure to check the tier list for PSU when buying these units. Do not go cheap on these as they are the foundation of the desktop. Do not buy just because of 80+ Gold. I did not research much and later came to regret my decision. The unit runs but I'm not very confident in my purchase after researched more about PSU. The one problem I have after installation is the fan making some ticking noise but this problem is very hard to debug to find the main cause. It could be my outlet or cables. One thing I know is that my fan is facing downwards to the case so no cables will come in contact to make such noises. Noise is not very noticeable however comparing to other fans inside. However, I'm worried that it might die one day or damage by desktop. Management: If you are running the mid atx case, opt for the modular option instead of this. It will cost more but cable management will be much easier. There are a lot of cables I ended up not using so they turned out to be a waste of space in the back. Conclusion: For now, I'll leave a 4 stars as time will tell how good this unit is. The quality of the PSU comes from the longevity not fresh out of the box installation. Though, I would say I would not buy this again for the next build and opt for something more pricy and back tested by the community. Do more research and do just trust general reviews. There are many models for this brand which are all grouped under one review pool. Do not buy confidently using reviews on Amazon as metrics like I did.

Solid product. You will most likely have a bunch of extra wires you’ll need to shove somewhere if you have a standard build, but you want something cheaper than the modular options this’ll work

I'm a hobby builder. Have purchased at least half a dozen of these over the past six months. Have not had the first issue with any of them. Though they are in PC systems built to be sold. So, I do not have first hand experience on longer term quality or durability. They sound plenty quiet for a US$50 PSU. They look good. All black flat cables. Segotep is a 20+ year old company. Their 750W & 850W "GM" PSUs are rated "Tier B" at the PSU Cultists Network and "Gold Efficiency" & "A- Noise" at Cybenetics Labs. So, I think the manufacturer has reasonable credibility. I've not seen a better value on a 650W 80+ Gold PSU. Plus, even Corsair & Seasonic have sold "Tier F - replace immediately" units per the PSU Cultists Network. So, brand name is no guaranty either way.

5 stars because it works. My computer was damaged by a nearby lightning strike. I guessed that the fact it was dead was caused by the original power supply and I was right. Never having replaced a power supply I must say that it was easy to install and hook up and I once again had a functional computer. Very happy. Yes I have replaced all surge protectors.
