Great for small little explorers and indoor play!
My son is about 36 inches tall and 27 pounds. He just turned 2 this summer. When this arrived, I wanted to put it together immediately. I took it out of the box and he immediately started yelling the colors. It became a little project for us as I asked him to pass me the purple one and so on. He loved doing that alone. It was very easy to put together. It did require a wrench which I believe was the most challenging part but really not a challenge at all. As soon as I put together, he yelled tunnel and crawled right on through. He started climbing on it and had a lot of fun. A little while later, he grabbed his tablet, crawled in the tunnel and laid in there and looked at YouTube videos. This was a great purchase. My son loves it. Small kids who love to climb and crawl would love it too I’m sure. It doesn’t take up much room, we use it as apart of his indoor entertainment and the room is not huge. It’s worth noting that there is no built in floor. So if you plan to use this outside, I suggest getting a mat for underneath it (unless you’re cool with your kids crawling in the ground/grass). I myself low crawled through the tunnel to play with my son and it was ok for me. I’m 5’7 about 150 pounds. Overall it’s a great deal. I’ll try to remember to post pictures later. If you find my review helpful, please give it a thumbs up. Thank you!

kids love "gus"
"Gus" is ECR's larger Caterpillar tunnel. I purchased it for my daycare (outdoor use). The kids play in it and on top of it. I do have to watch them though- the weight limit to sit on top isn't that high, so generally kids 5 and over will have to be satisfied with playing inside the tunnel only. It seems sturdy, with nice heavy plastic. My guess is it could withstand a little heavier kids than indicated, but since I have a daycare, we follow the perimeters established by the manufacturer. Gus is a little pricey, but will provide lasting fun. Seems worth it to me. I am hoping to add the extension this summer or next. Update Sept 24, 2014: kids still love Gus. Holding up well. Color may fade eventually, but is nice and bright so far. Occasionally a big kid "forgets" and climbs on top. Gus is sturdy enough it hasn't caused any problems. It is easy to clean- just hose it down. My "Gus" is in a mulch bed, and that has not stopped the kiddos from having fun crawling through. Often, several kiddos play together in/on it. As many as 6 or 7 have piled up top together to "drive" Gus somewhere! Great purchase!
