I absolutely love these shoes. I owned a pair of Ecco soft 7 sneakers years ago in a taupe color and really liked them, but ruined them when I tried to clean them in a bucket of water and oxyclean- learn from me don’t do this. I didn’t think I wanted to spend that much money on another pair, but I’m so glad I did when I saw my size was on sale here. I got the white pair and they are super comfy, match every outfit, and you can dress up, dress down, and walk miles upon miles in them without issues. They are comfy right out of the box, but the more you wear them the more they mold to your feet and get more and more comfy - seems impossible, but very true! My shoe size is uncertain at times. I can usually wear anything from an 8 1/2 to 10 depending. When I had the taupe pair I had the 8-8 1/2 and I thought they fit well so I ordered that size on Zappos and they were snug on my foot from what I remember. I guess Ecco has transformed this shoe some over the years. So I ended up buying them here and went up a size to the 9-9 1/2. My toes have plenty of room, but that’s my preferred fit, but I could’ve worn either size and been happy. I would recommend sizing up if your a half size normally and size down if your a full size normally. One thing I love about them is I have long feet for someone my height, but the low profile on these makes my foot look smaller which I really like!!!!! This will be a staple in my closet for many many years and worth every penny!!!!

This is my first pair of any Ecco shoes. I was looking for a black leather sneaker I can wear casually or dress up. This one fits the bill. Pros: sizing chart was accurate for me in the 9-9.5 size; cushioning was pretty good - I could feel the slight arch support; stylish, classy and classic; easy fit for everyday wear; I wore them all day at work with moderate walking without any blistering or major discomfort and squeezing; no break in period; the tongue is padded just enough; removable insoles (yes!); love the color; they seem to be great quality and could last a long time with proper care Cons: the laces are good length and tie up well, but they were stiff (I've already ordered replacements); the rubber sole squeaks on a linoleum floor (they hear you long before they see you), but very good grip; widthwise, my 9M foot felt slightly tight in the toebox initially and I thought it might be a problem, but it wasn't and I had no blisters or sore spots (definitely not shoes for thick or wide feet - the toe box is lower than other similar sneakers I've tried and can cramp the foot). Additional thoughts: I was wearing no-show socks and they slipped down a little and I made a mental note to wear different socks because I didn't feel like untying shoe laces to adjust socks; they will probably do well for all day and longer walks depending on your foot comfort; I'm hoping the leather will loosen up a little with wear. Overall: comfortable and a well-deserved recommend.

I have eight pairs of the Ecco Soft 7 that I've collected over the years, starting in 2013. When they're perfect, they're perfect immediately, no break in time. When they're bad for some reason, they're really bad and I end up returning them. I think there is actually ONE pair of size 8-8.5 Rose Dust that keeps going back and forth. I've ordered that shoe THREE TIMES over the past year, and once again today I received a pair that I think I was sent before. It's clearly not new but the bad part is the horrible chemical odor in the shoes, the kind of smell that makes your eyes water. I didn't even bother trying them on this time. I knew from the smell that it was never going to come out. So I boxed them up ASAP and returned them. Sad, because that Rose Dust color is the final one I want for my collection. The Soft 7 are the only shoes I wear, and except for this they're great. HINT: A few years ago I had the same problem with a white pair. If you're thinking of buying the Soft 7 for the first time, go with a Nubuck version. I've not had the chemical smell problem with the Nubucks.

What I like: It feels like a quality shoe....even the laces are extra thick. The shoe feels supportive to me and I have picky feet. The toe box is wide enough to be comfortable but my heel doesn't slip...a win in my book. What I don't like: I normally wear a 9.5 in a boot and a 10 in an athletic shoe like Asics or New Balance because when I walk fast, I need a little wiggle room. I ordered two sizes in this Ecco shoe and the 9-9.5 was too small and the 10-10.5 is the one I kept. Having said that, I almost didn't keep it because it felt 'tight' and I have pretty narrow feet. After wearing it around inside for awhile, it felt more comfortable like it conformed to my foot. If I have a complaint about the sizing, it's like the shoe is long enough and wide enough but somehow feels like it's not deep enough if that makes sense. If you have a really thick foot (I don't) then you might want to size up. Shoes are comfortable but only after loosening shoelaces from toe to tongue. Also Liner comes out of shoe every time I remove my foot. After that the liner does not lay flat, is not attached to sole.

Slightly darker than ones bought new the other year, have maybe darkened a little from storage, also seemed a little dry. Only walked about an hour in them so far, they seem ok for the price, thanks Had the previous pair maybe 2 years and replaced insoles to rejuvenate them a bit. Expect they stretched slightly with use too so new ones feel slightly tighter but then could be more supportive?

Scarpe molto belle, eleganti e sportive, Il colore nero è trés chic per essere scarpe diciamo da ginnastica. Il numero 36 calza giusto. Preciso però che io ho un piede magro. La qualità corrisponde al consueto insuperabile standard del marchio. In effetti, come scritto da altri, subito sembrano più rigide del solito, ma appena indossate risultano comode, morbide ma con un buon supporto. Ho risparmiato parecchio rispetto al negozio. Con la Ecco mi avventuro ad acquistare senza provare, con altre marche preferisco non rischiare, d'altra parte il resto il reso è gratuito e la spedizione Amazon sempre impeccabile. Arrivate con un giorno di anticipo e ritirate alla Posta, che prediligo rispetto ad essere inchiodata in casa ad attendere un corriere.

Great quality and comfortable fit from the moment I put them on. Requires a little breaking in but nothing major.
