The containers were well made and the caps snapped on perfectly. They are not self-standing because there is a bit of plastic on the bottoms from the molding process and they are light weight so they do tip over. Labeling the seeds might be a problem as the containers are small. I used a tiny label inside the container with my accession number only. They are great if you have a large number of different taxa and need to store small seeds. Can be used with a disinfectant of 10% bleach inside, shake and rinse with distilled water, then lay them out to dry and store in dry containers.

Some other reviewers said there were broken lids, but I had exactly the right number of lids, all good, and there were a few extra bottles. They work perfectly for putting spice servings in. I can imagine they'd also work for seed beads and other small things. Definitely a good purchase.
