great cleaner and protective polish with minimal work
This stuff is great for aluminum or steel. I put this on my old ford truck bumpers and wheels. It takes very little if the solution. Putting too much on will make it look oily. Just wipe on and buff off with a towel. It also cleaned off brake dust on the wheels. It leaves a coating that acts like a protective barrier against the elements. It really helped on the old dimond plate running boards where the original coating had worn away. It did not produce shine there of course, but it did make it look better than oxidized metal. I put this on the unpolished aluminum wheel welds of my horse trailer as they where real cloudy and flat and it helped darken them up and give a gloss to them. They did not shine like brand new but they look a whole lot better. Now they have this stuff acting as a barrier so thet shouldn't cloud up for a while. I will be trying this on the roof to see if it helps with the oxidizing on the aluminum and cut down on the streaking that the roof causes down the sides of the trailer that are painted. It does not remove scuffs or scratches, but it makes them much less noticeable. Just remember, a little goes a long way.

Sheila, where ever you are your product definitely shines. Thank you!!
Amazing cleaner. I got some overspray from some fabric adhesive on my car leather upholstery. My friend said she had something that would clean it right off. Well it was Sheila Shine in a spray can. I simply had to get some of this amazing product. When I saw it available in quart cans I thought I'd simply put some in a spray bottle and be able to use it more effectively on a towel or sponge. I went nuts cleaning everything in sight. My cars wheels never looked so great. Water faucets on the sinks and bathtub look brand new. Truly no end to the stuff you can clean with Sheila Shine. I love the stuff. Oh, works great on air conditioner condenser fins. Spray on a light mist and hose it off. Shining like new. Really great stuff.

Use it on almost everything!
This stuff is awesome! I keep reading the instructions on the can, since there ARE some surfaces it shouldn't be applied to, but so far those exceptions are few. I have old, faux "marble" bathroom vanities, for instance, that were looking dull and scratched. After applying the Sheila Shine, they look really good again. Not like new, of course, but well cared for. All my kitchen appliances look clean and refreshed as well. I even polished a few of my guns with it, and they look like new! Do not attempt to remove the whole inner cap, however. Just poke two holes in it on opposite sides, one near the logical pouring edge. You don't need much of this stuff on your rag, and opening the entire top would probably result in using far too much. A little goes a long way! It has a pleasant smell, which dissipates quickly. Wear some kind of plastic gloves when using it. Do read the instructions on the can carefully.

NOT for CLEANING - POLISHES ONLY - and Well. Please Read my Review!
I purchased this product based upon reviews which suggested that this product cleans and shines. It is marginal to ineffective at cleaning stainless steel; however, it is excellent for protecting and shining stainless steel. Here's the 411: If your stainless steel appliances are dirty, clean them thoroughly first with a solution of baking soda and water. Scrub, scrub, scrub and only WITH the grain of the steel. DO NOT USE A 3M GREEN PAD - it will scratch. Use a sponge and baking soda. If there are scratches from everyday use on your appliances, this is your opportunity to eradicate them. Use very fine sandpaper (300 to 800) to sand the scratches out by hand, using your finger and a small bit of sandpaper. Don't panic if your hand slips and you make a mistake and go against the grain, just sand AGAIN IN THE DIRECTION OF THE GRAIN and your scratches should disappear. Wipe the micro shavings/dust clean with a soft microfiber cloth. Do not attempt this step on stainless steel which does not have a directional pattern as you will simply make a mess of your finishes. Then, when you have cleaned your appliances and they are as clean as you can get them, you should apply Sheila Shine on a soft, lint free cloth. Here's what the Sheila Shine does, IMHO: it shines your clean appliances and puts an imperceptible oil-like clear coating over the clean stainless. Why would you want such a finish? Because, next time you have splatters, smudges, etc., you can wipe down your stainless with a clean microfiber cloth, moistened if necessary, and the usual kitchen splatter will easily slide off. It is important that I direct your attention to the fact that this product smells like lacquer thinner or gasoline and you wouldn't want to use this just prior to having guests. Choose a day when your cleaning daemon wakes you with a mission to compulsively clean and you have no one coming over for at least two days to perform this task. Then, later, when your guests do arrive, they will marvel at your blazingly bright, seemingly new stainless steel appliances!

Miracle in a bottle!
Why has this product been hiding for so long! I had a service on my Viking cooktop and the technician recommended this product to me because I was complaining of streaking with my other stainless cleaners. All of them. This product is so easy to apply and leaves shine and absolutely NO streaking or strength to apply. Just buy a bulk of microfiber clothes on Amazon and use the same one on each appliance. Its nothing shy of amazing. I am so pleased if you cant judge already by my review.

Best ever stainless steel plus cleaner and polish
Twenty-eight years ago I was introduced to Sheila Shine while co-managing a homeless shelter program where all the commercial kitchen equipment needed to be sanitized and polished clean when all the guests departed for the season. Sheila Shine made all the stainless steel gleam like new with minimal effort. After having been retired for several years I recently purchased Sheila Shine to use in my own kitchen. We live in a "seasonal destination" area where we are visited by multiple family and friends--so many smears and fingerprints! Still lovin' my old friend Sheila. One caveat--the packaging is not sufficiently USPS mailworthy. The can arrived with a dent and some leakage, albeit contained within the plastic bag in which it was wrapped.

Just buy it
I have tried all different types of stainless steel polishes, cheap and expensive from all over the stores and online, nothing works like this one. My fridge always has finger prints and strikes no matter how i clean them, i was never satisfied, this one my 8 years old fridge looks super shiny and clean. I use it on my stove too. U will get addicted using on any stainless in your house. Works perfectly with faucets and shower heads
