Sound Blaster Play! 3, USB Audio Adapter, 24-bit 96kHz Plug & Play

I purchased the Bose Companion 50 and I wanted a clean solution of a USB audio adapter connected to my monitor to keep the setup clean. I have tried a few cheaper USB audio and had lost the ability to control the surround, bass and treble settings. With this one, the UI gives you the ability to adjust those. I recommend this one to keep it simple and a solution that works. There is no need to upgrade to a more so expensive unit if you have a simple 2.1 setup. Also this has been tested on a windows 11 machine

I used it with my DT990 250 ohm and the audio quality is not that good but works great for the price to be honest and im not hearing any bass at the moment idk if the problem with the headphones or i should buy great amp/dac and im buying the fiio k5 pro soon but if you wanna buy a cheap amp/dac under 25$ go for this it is loud but not that good

Mic ports record for 5-10 mins then stops working. i tried using another desktop or machine. i have bought 3 pcs but not working at all.

I bought this USB sound card as my built in sound card on the motherboard was frustrating. The motherboard is an MSI B450 Tomahawk and the sound card is the Realtek unit. The drivers have upgraded, and made it worse. Sound stutters when playing music and I open another web page with ads or videos that want to play. Also, you could hear the mouse scrolling through the speakers. Really not good. So considered an internal sound card, but what I want, with either toslink or coax to feed a DAC, are not cheap. So, I look at this little device instead. I don't use it for headphones, but rather a 3.5mm to RCA cable instead that feeds my Amplifier. What a revelation! It is many many times better than the onboard sound card. The sound is cleaner, richer, deeper and really enhances streaming music and videos. Well worth considering over a number of onboard cards. Quite simply, for cost for sound quality, it is mightily impressive. Well worth it.

I have this running 24/7 in a commercial space. Very happy with this.

La compré animado por los comentarios elogiosos y ciertamente no decepciona. Mejora el sonido del ordenador de una manera que cuesta creer por su tamaño y precio. Se conecta al ordenador por una entrada USB y, sin necesidad de instalar drivers, proporciona al instante una mejora del sonido muy apreciable. Puede usarse conectando directamente unos auriculares a la entrada de 3,5mm o bien llevando un cable a unos altavoces amplificados o a un amplificador convencional. Lo he probado y funciona igual de bien en Windows, Mac y Linux (la distribución que yo uso es Peppermint); sólo hay que seleccionar la tarjeta en la opción de sonido del panel de control de cada sistema operativo. La compré para un regalo, gratamente sorprendido por su calidad me compré otra para usarla yo en un PC Windows y en breve, comprobado por mí que funciona en Linux, voy a comprar otra para usarla en un HP al que le instalé Peppermint. Con eso lo digo todo.
