Expensive is meant to be used in place of conditioner 1-2x per week and rinsed from the hair before styling with your favorite products. As long as your preferred products are not mattifying, they should not dull the shine from Expensive. I hope this helps!

Most prep sprays for me end up making my hair look dull. Does this do that?

It does keep my flyaways down but dull? Not super shiny but not dull either… if your looking for high shine this may not do it….
