after a few weeks it lost most of its brightness - is now dim and pretty much useless UPDATE: I contacted the company and they sent a replacement, just received today and so far it is working fine.

The one I ordered had an issue after a few months, and the company replaced it. That was a really nice thing to do for a product this inexpensive. The replacement works well. I also like that the housing for the LED is aluminum to better dissipate heat.

This has been very handy while making uranium bead bracelets and necklaces. It's been even more helpful when I spill beads all over the floor and need a black light to help locate all of them.
