Are these the heavier, warmer socks? Got enough of the thinner ones.

In my opinion I like the heavier 82% cotton socks as opposed to the 74%. More durable and longer lasting. You have to read the details to find the material content.

How tight are these? I have thick calves and some socks I can’t even put on because they are too tight

I find them tighter than I like. I have to stretch them out with my hands before putting them on. My calves are 12.5" around where the top of the socks are. That's about 10" above the floor in sock feet. I'll try some other brand next time.

I'm a body builder and I have large calfs (23 1/4 inches). Will these socks fit over my calfs??

My husband's calves are 15" and the socks are tight on him, so they definitely wouldn't be comfortable on someone with muscular calves. They are really nice socks and truly are, over the calf.

The best socks!

These are my favorite socks. I am tall, so I need over the calf socks. They stay up and keep your calves warm in the winter cold. These I got from Amazon are about 2-3 inches longer than the ones I normally get, even though these are the same brand/style. I like that extra length though. The previous "over the calf" ones I bought either didn't go as high or maybe they shrunk over time. I like this longer length. These are thick and good quality. Recommended.

These are form fitting compression socks! If you have your toenails surgically remove they might be okay. I have to pull really hard to get them on, and they will snag on anything. I am old, and just getting these things on with one hand is an exhausting chore. Actually, pretty good quality; just overkill in elasticity. I have to stretch the socks over something before even trying to put them on. Strong young guys looking for something really tight may love these cutting blood circulation off. Editing in. I changed my rating. After washing and wearing few times, I like these socks. Lot better sock than those spandex Cowboy Wranglers.

In short, these are an excellent value for a terrific boot sock Little to no shrinkage or fabric loss in machine lint filter after machine washing and drying on normal settings. Excellent color retention. These socks aee holding up very well after months of daily use. I've purchased 4 3-packets. Neg: None noticed.
