How exactly do you use this spray for best results? As a mousse? As a hairspray?

Use On dry hair—I have very fine, thin hair, so I use as a root lift spray as well as all over hairspray- i use after I’ve blown dry, air dried or curled my hair. Even great on a few days old, unwashed hair. Works great, holds with flexible body without being sticky. Best hair product I’ve ever come across for fine, thin hair! If you’ve got thicker hair, this probably isn’t the product for you.

Tests on animals still? davines markets itself as beauty and sustainability. but are they cruelty free? i see nothing station this on the label.

Can this product be used on a black woman hair?

I don't really think it would be a good product for hair with a lot of texture. Hope that helps. I am white, with very straight, flat hair. This product helps me have volume and texture, so my hair is easier to style.
