I haven't ever bought a recipe book before (mostly just pull stuff off the internet) but after following Joe's Instagram for some time now, I had to bite. Definitively light on the workouts, but I bought it for the recipes and not the workouts. I have been living the HIIT/reduced carb lifestyle for some time now, but I was getting SO bored with the same steak or salad or chicken breast lo-carb meals I had been making on repeat. Some pros and cons with this book, but the cons aren't really even worth taking a star off for me. I can't wait until the new copy comes out! Pros: - Teaching you a whole new way of eating/approaching food. I LOVE that I can still have carbs, cheats, etc., but the key is to time them appropriately after HIIT workouts. - The recipes are truly delicious. I've had the book for about a week now and have made at least 10 of the recipes. Yum! - Lots of variety and interchangeability. Don't like fish? Swap it with chicken. No ground turkey? 93/7 ground beef! - Some people have mentioned in their reviews about UK/US conversions. This edition I bought a couple weeks ago is fully Americanized--ounces, zucchini (not courgetti), green onions (not spring onions) etc., so pleasant surprise there. Cons: - The layout! There's no tabs/delineation between reduced-carb, post-workout, and snacks other than a cover page, so often I'm flipping through the whole book to find what I'm looking for. I have a lot of sticky tabs in it now. There's also no delineation between breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, but this is more understandable due to the fact that the meals are mostly interchangeable. - Many of the meals are for one. Again, not a big deal, but I'm always cooking for two, or prepping for the week (as the author suggests), so I have to do some math to get the proportions right - Not much for workouts, if that's what you're looking for. - The initial pantry stock up was a bit expensive (i.e, fish sauce, sesame oil, seasonings which can be really pricey, seeds/nuts I don't typically have--I'm talking about you pine nuts), but the next trips to the store weren't nearly as bad because I had these things already. Review: Simple, effective story told by likeable Joe - That's a great book. It does not go into details about nutrition but tells you enough to learn something. Wht I like is trend about hating sugar not fat, which we can observe among other authors. Recipes are mostly easy and really good - especily fritters with tuna or chicken pie! I would definetely recommend this book to people who love to eat. One advice from me would be to invest in some kind of app to analyze recipes and create shopping list based on that (for instance plantoeat.com), as this quickly solves problems like, what to buy and how much.

Great guide for beginners on a weight loss journey
I stumbled upon Joe's YouTube channel after he collaborated with Jim Chapman in a cooking and workout video. Not only were his workouts and recipes simple and doable, his enthusiasm is what drew me in. This book is a great first step for beginners looking to cook more at home, shed a few pounds of fat and build lean muscle. This isn't for someone who is already a fitness junkie or bodybuilder as they have their routines they've been using for sometime. Highly recommend this book but be ready to put in the work, keep it consistent and be ready to spend a little more time in the kitchen

Great recipes
I tried some of the recipes here and they all have been really easy and quick to make. I haven't tried any of the recipes that require longer time (but he discloses that they take longer than 15 minutes). The flavor is great and ingredients are easy to find and healthy. Great for taking lunches to work. I do other workouts, so I'm not following his program, but this is great helpful eating guide for a general healthy lifestyle.

I love Joe and follow his Instagram religiously
I love Joe and follow his Instagram religiously!! He has some fantastic recipes on his page and I see so many I want to try or have tried, but it's Jed to save Instagram videos to refer back to later, so I decided to buy his book. There are some great recipes in here and most are simple. I marked it down for two reasons: 1. Not all the recipes have pictures. Big no for me. 2. There are a LOT of recipes in here that are basically the same. Lots of stir fries. His Instagram has some really ingenuitive stuff and I was really hoping for more of that!

5 Stars!! Love it!
This cookbook is amazing! Some of the wording is different from what we use in here in the States, so I had to google what some of the words meant like "rockets" which is really arugala and "courgette" is zucchini. Also, I had to google measurements because everything is in grams or ml instead of cups. In all, this cookbook is great for me because it gives me healthy food ideas and its 15 minutes or less which is awesome. The food is so tasty I feel like I'm cheating at times. He also has HIIT workouts to do, which, he also has the same workout on his youtube channel that you can follow along that's only 20 min. I've only been on it for 5 days so far and I've lost 4 lbs! Everything I've cooked so far is really tasty!

Simple
This is kinda like the bodybuilder cut, bulk, maintain but for non-body builders. I love the recipes - it's not all chicken, kale & protein shakes. Great for anyone looking for easy way to lose fat & learn about sustainable fat loss.

Man benötigt keine unnötigen, fancy Produkte.

Un must.

By far the best diet / cookbook I have ever owned! Full of tasty easy to follow & inexpensive healthy recipes
I wasn't expecting all that much from this book having already purchased so called 15 minute meals books where the meals take over an hour. This one stands miles apart from the rest in terms of not just easy to follow, tasty recipes but also you don't need to buy 15 different ingredients just to make one dinner. Out of the 217 pages, 160 are dedicated to recipes only, with the others being some exercise plans, an introduction which gives a background onto how Joe came about writing the book and Getting Started which gives all the advice of store cupboard essentials and how this diet actually works. This book has so many healthy and tasty recipes that are not over complicated so they suit everyone's taste including classics such as in a Hurry Curry Fried Rice, Turkey Burgers, Meatballs & Pasta, Singapore Noodles, Piri Piri Rice with Garlic Prawns and so many more. There are also a few easy to make Smoothie recipes and overnight oats recipes. Best of all these recipes are easy to follow so I'm not put off making them by a long list of instructions. They are primarily based on the protein concept so there's not much in the way of potato or refined carbohydrates, however, unlike Atkins they are not excluded and there are plenty of vegetables included with each recipe to make them balanced and healthy. I've only had this book a few days but the recipes I've made so far have been delicious and easy to make and if you exclude the washing up & cooking time they really did only take 15 minutes to prepare. I love the style in which Joe Wicks narrates the book, it's all about having fun and being laid back about cooking. The serving size of recipes are all either to serve 1 or to serve 2 which is ideal for me because I'm the only one on a diet here so whilst my other diet books are to serve 4 which makes it hard work trying to divide the quantities by a quarter, now I no longer have to do that I can just cook for me and either cook 1 days worth of 2 days worth. I can highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to go on a diet that is easy, low cost, not time consuming and actually works.
