I was eggcited to use this, but..........
I recently purchased the Manual Egg Shaker with high hopes of effortlessly blending egg yolks with the whites. However, my experience with this product was incredibly frustrating, and it failed to deliver on its intended purpose. Here's my one-star review based on my usage attempts. First and foremost, despite multiple attempts, I found the Manual Egg Shaker to be ineffective in distributing the yolk as it claims. The design of the product gave the impression that it would easily separate the yolk from the white, but unfortunately, that was not the case. No matter how hard I shook or how many different techniques I tried, the yolk remained stubbornly intact, leaving me disappointed and dissatisfied. The overall functionality of the Manual Egg Shaker was severely lacking. It did not live up to its promises or perform the task it was designed for. The lack of clear instructions or guidance made it even more difficult to figure out the proper technique, and ultimately, I was left feeling frustrated and with wasted eggs. The build quality of the product was also subpar. The materials used felt flimsy and cheap, which added to my disappointment. The construction did not inspire confidence in its durability or longevity, making it difficult to justify the purchase considering the lack of functionality. In conclusion, the Manual Egg Shaker proved to be an ineffective and disappointing product. It failed to distribute the yolk as intended, despite multiple attempts and different approaches. The lack of functionality, poor build quality, and absence of clear instructions made it a frustrating experience overall. I would not recommend this product to anyone seeking an efficient and reliable method for separating egg yolks from whites. Look for alternative options that have proven track records in achieving the desired result.

It's good cheaply made but good
This is one of those things you buy that immediately makes you so happy because it works so well but shortly after takes all your happiness away because it breaks so quickly because it's cheaply made so when it's working it definitely works great makes the perfect golden egg unfortunately the string is not that strong and finally snapped from friction maybe about 10 eggs in seems like the string could easily be replaced but really shouldn't have to at the most they should probably include a couple replacement strings so I guess now I'm just going to be on the lookout for one of these made by a different company that maybe uses better materials

This works great, but there is a learning curve, and the instructions are lacking.
This little egg spinning device is well made for the current price. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it, but once you get it right, it works great. Make sure to start off with room temperature eggs; chilled eggs take much longer to mix. Put the egg in, pull the string handle quickly, then return the handle to the original position to allow the spinner to spin the other way and the string to retract. You can do several spins in quick succession this way. Be careful not to let the device slip. Make sure to candle your egg with a flashlight according to the directions. You need to candle your eggs to see whether they're mixed. You can't tell as easily when the egg is inside the device, but if you look closely, you can see whether any light is entering the egg or if it's fully opaque. Make sure to double check after you take the egg out, of course. When the yolk is broken and starts to mix with the white, the egg will shine a red color under light. I like to give it another spin or two to make sure it's actually fully mixed. (Once the yolk is broken, it mixes quite easily, so you don't need to double your spins.) Every egg takes a different amount of spinning for the yolk to break, so you need to check them. I bought this after I was already making scrambled-in-shell eggs, but without a specialized tool. I used the method where you take a length of stocking, tie a knot, put the egg in, tie a string around the other side, hold one end in each hand, swing it around like a jump rope, then pull after it gets twisted enough. That method works, but it's extremely time consuming, and it's also very easy to crack the egg by mistake. This egg spinner makes it much easier. Regardless of how you scramble them, scrambled-in-shell eggs can crack very easily while cooking or be harder to peel. I find that if I cook the eggs immediately, they are almost guaranteed to crack and/or stick to the shell, but if I refrigerate them for a few hours or overnight, the results are much better.

Failure product
I just used this for the first time and used a standard size egg. Barely pulled the string one time and it did not retract. Complete failure so bad that I am not asking for a refund but just throwing this crap product in the trash. Waste of money.
