Q: Is this coffee maker made in italy?

The box stated it was made in China. Maybe designed in Italy?

Q: Teflon in lower pod? isnt that carcinogenic? hello manufacturer please clarify!

There is no Teflon. It is sandblasted to give surface a satin finish which aids in getting the water to boil quickly.

Q: Are the filter and funnel also both stainless steel? Is anything in this moka pot aluminum?

Yes the funnel & filter are stainless steel. I’m no expert but I don’t think there is any aluminum in the pot. We love ours. Works great.

Q: It's 2021, are any of the internal components now made of aluminum?

Mine seems to be all stainless steel and is WAY better than the company's aluminum one

very sharp edge

I purchased this product expecting higher quality, but unfortunately, the design poses a safety hazard. The top part of the pot, including the lid, has extremely sharp edges, which led to me accidentally cutting my finger. I am quite disappointed, as I had assumed that a reputable brand would prioritise safety in its design.
