I like this product

I have tried a few brands of Lh strips and I'm just not happy with these. I'm not sure why, but the rest line doesn't seem to get as dark for my peaks as other brands do. The test is streaky. It is a nice thickness though. I like the feeling of these test strips as well as the value. I'm not sure I'll get these again.

I got off hormonal BC 6 months ago after being on it for 7+ years. Since then, I have been using the Oura ring, Natural Cycles app, and these ovulation tests combined to naturally prevent pregnancy. I have found these test to be very accurate. They always match up with my predicted ovulation date on my app. Whether you are tracking ovulation to prevent pregnancy or to get pregnant, I’d recommend these tests.

I got pregnant within 2 to 3 months of using this kit. I also recommended this one to my colleague who was trying for 12 months, had an appointment scheduled with infertility doctor, and she got pregnant in 3 months after using it. Even when you know for sure that you are ovulating, it can take several months.

A friend gave me a box of these Pregmate LH strips when she learned we were trying for a pregnancy and were experiencing some issues. Despite having regular ~28 day cycles, she recommended tracking my LH surge as she learned hers was several days off from the 14th day by using these strips. They worked great and I learned that I also have a delayed surge/ovulation.. sometimes as late as CD21, despite having ~28 day cycles. This helped revealed luteal phase issues. The strips were so easy to use and useful that I continued purchasing my own. One thing I noticed is that the test strips have become more narrow, but the lines are still easily readable. Also, for me, my first morning urine is not necessarily the best urine to use for testing as I sip water each time I wake at night. I get good, clear reads whenever I test with moderate to dark yellow urine, whenever time that might be during the day.
