One out of the three sets were bogus
Two out of the three bass packs were fine, third set of strings were contained in a plastic bag and the string endings were cut off… neither of the strings from that set would barely pass the nut on the headstock

Only strings I have used recently I play down tuned either drop a or drop d, the thicker core on these strings help them keep a good amount of tension even with the down tuning so you are not dealing with floppy strings

Excellent strings! I string all my basses with these, lovely warm full flat wound sound but with a bit more bite and clearer articulation than any other flatwounds I’ve tried. Great string feel too.
