A quality product, good price & on time delivery. It is a good extender if you don't need it too far. I'm using mine to extend internet signal to an outside camera & it works pretty good. It really boosted the signal throughout the house. We haven't had any issues since we plugged it in. It was super easy to set up and install, and adding devices to its network was a breeze. The Wi-Fi from the extender has been solid, no problems at all.

I bought this extender for the purpose of getting a stronger signal to a Ring camera I'm using for my driveway, as the router was a bit far from it and the signal was intermittent. It works perfectly and the camera is receiving a strong signal with no connectivity issues. The setup was fairly easy and you can place it anywhere in the house where there's a low signal or a dead spot. So far it's been a week and haven't had any problems with it. Very pleased with it and I highly recommend it.

I’ve been very impressed with this TP-Link product. The setup process was quick and straightforward. I was able to get everything up and running within minutes. The app is user-friendly and makes managing the network simple and convenient. I can also block users I dont want to access, only with I would be able to rename the devices to make it easier. Most devices just show up as anonymous.Other than that, performance has been consistently strong and reliable. The signal strength significantly improved coverage throughout my home, eliminating dead zones that I previously struggled with. Speeds are stable, even with multiple devices connected at the same time, which is important for streaming, working from home, and everyday use.I also appreciate the build quality and clean design — it blends in well without being bulky or distracting. Overall, this product delivers excellent value for the price and performs just as advertised. Looking forward to buying an additional one for our RV for our camping trips.I would definitely recommend TP-Link to anyone looking for dependable networking equipment without overspending.

I've never written a review within a hour of receiving an order from Amazon -- until now.My big screen tv is in the basement, so that's where eeryone gathers to watch movies, etc.. The internet connection was usually okay -- until it wasn't. Then what we'd all been waiting to see was continually buffering and unwatchable. I finally had enough and ordered this wifi extender. Setup instructions were very clear on the app, and Installation was easy and took just a few minutes -- and if I can do it anyone can.My tv in the basement is now connected to the new extended wifi network with an excellent signal. Problem solved.!

The WiFi extender works great, after plugging in nearby the router and setting up, that was very easy and took about 5 minutes I moved it to center of house and 4’ above floor my signal was very good, full bars.All my devices work great solution solved.Works great with spectrum routerMust have highly recommended !!!

I had bought an outdoor security camera that couldn't get a strong enough signal from our Wifi from where I had it installed. I bought this wifi extender and now the camera works perfectly!!! Before, our camera would send us "weak or unstable connection" messages, it would sit and buffer, and miss a lot of important events that it should have picked up! But now we have a nice medium strength signal that never cuts out and never misses important triggers! Heads up, it does run a little warm (that's normal from what I've read)... be sure it has plenty of open space to get air to keep cool. Also, setup was pretty easy!! Thank you Tapo!!! I'm So Happy with this purchase!!!

I don't know the experience level of these five star reviewers and I am not easily outclassed so consider that if you are trying to find out if this is suitable for you or not.I had a pricier alternative to this for an access point.That didn't work out well. It appeared to be working but when I turned the 5 GHz and 2.4GHz antennas off on my modem I discovered that the app couldn't find nor adopt my cameras and other smart plugs.There's a video right in with the actual AC1200 that is pretty helpful as an overview.The instructions help a little but these things are ridiculous.I look at it this way after attempting several times over to accessorize by using the tether app but that in itself was yet another exercise in futility.Maybe my network has been tapped and there's a lot of confusion but in spite of the fact that it's been useless repetition where, following the instructions, I tap to add a device then it's a steep climb up a nearly vertical virtual surface.If I can't find my devices and cameras however, how successful will a hacker be?Unless they're really determined, they are going to seek out an easier target to hack than me.The point here to note specifically for one is that accessing my cameras is an incredible increase in speed, minimal latency where before I would have to sit and roll my eyes and slam my phone onto the bed waiting.Another plus was access to a near dead zone which was incredibly unreliable.The camera in that drop off zone has shown some signs of noticeable improvement.So hurray for all that, but installing this was no easy feat.Tp Link probably wants it to appear to be a very simple setup in order to get these things out of their warehouse and into the homes of as many potential buyers as possible.Finally: to ease installation woes at least a little, unless you enjoy getting irritable and aggravated, get the kids, pets and any other distractions out of your hair in advance and clear them out if you can.

Setting up the extender is a breeze, and the reception has improved notably. I really like the one-mesh technology, eliminating the need to change networks at home.

This works really well and was very easy to setup. I needed to use mine as an access point vs a repeated/extender which wasn't covered in the Quick Start manual but the online full user guide explained it well enough. All of the changes for anything can be done via the Tether app.Plugged it in to a power socket, let it boot up, installed the Tether app which detected it and joined me to it's initial wifi network so I could continue the setup of the device. You get walked through every step nicely!In my case after configuring it I went into the "More" menu bottom right of the app, and changed the "Operational Mode" to an access point, and then setup the wifi networks I wanted from there. I did not need to extend or mesh my current SSID so I'm happy enough to use a unique network name here, it all works nicely routing wise.I then plugged this in at my remote spot of the house, and using a long ethernet cable (unique for the access point mode) I plugged that in, and now I have a super solid strong wifi signal for my security cameras and other doodads that previously struggled with signal.It's been reliable, no drops or issues, it's in a cold garage atm we'll see how it handles the heat of summer though! Speeds are not mind blowing, getting about 100MB/s throughput over it's wifi networks, but all I need for sure. One downside was the side of the thing prevents using on a wide splitter, like the antenna on the side block the next socket over if you're got a 3x2 socket plug/extender or anything going on. Works great on a long power bar though!Very happy with this for the price point, and the clarity of the instructions/app.

Very happy with my purchase. What i like about this wifi extender is that you can change the passwords within the Tether app, something you cant do with the cheaper models. Would buy again if required
