Ringside Competition-Like Boxing Headgear with Cheeks

Do enjoy getting punched or kicked in the head? Sure. We all do. But get hit enough times and you might find that having a little extra protection does some good. Put this headgear on and you'll have that protection. Will it stop a bullet or a knife? No. Will it make you look like Shatterstar? Debatable. Will it protect against punches/kicks? Yes.

Prior to purchasing the Ringside Competition headgear, I had being using a similar version made by Twins Special. However, in the absence of foresight, I purchased the Twins Special headgear in red. As red isn't a neutral color, I needed to find a solution ahead of a soon approaching tournament, as it was possible that I may fight out of the blue corner. As a last minute purchase and with very limited options available, I ordered the Ringside Competition headgear for potential use at a recent Muay Thai tournament. Given this was my first experience with this brand and therefore personally untested, I was a tad concerned and had my reservations considering some the reviews - particularly those related to the chin strap length. As experience would prove, those concerns were without merit. Three of my teammates and I shared my single purchase of the Ringside Competition headgear (totally unplanned) throughout the duration of the tournament, totaling 9 fights. With each of us fighting in different brackets, under different weight classes, having different fight styles, and facing opponents of different experiences levels, this headgear held up without issue and actually received glowing remarks from each of the guys. Unanimously, we regarded this headgear as being comfortable, lightweight, non-obstructing, and uncompromisingly secure (meaning it didn't move even after taking direct blows or during the clench) when properly adjusted. Neither of us, including a super heavyweight having a full head of hair found issue with the chin strap, its length, and/or its closure mechanism. In fact, at the conclusion of the tournament, our coach kindly confiscated the headgear for use as the fight team's community headgear in future competitions. I wasn't particularly pleased about it, but we are a team. Leaving me with my only dislike - the need for me to repurchase the headgear to replace the one now having been "donated" to the gym. Once the disposable funds become available, it is actually my intention to order (4) more of this headgear - one in black, white, red, and blue.

I love this headgear because i looked like an all-american championship fighter in the boxing ring. I always love to use it in 3-round sparring matches for boxing once in a while to keep my toughness in the ring. It always keeps my handsome face when I protect myself in the boxing ring by the time me and my sparring partner touch gloves in the boxing ring! It's an all-american knockout USA Flag headgear and it's became an undisputed and Undefeated Champion of the Universe!

I was hesitant to purchase the head gear without trying it on but the local stores had such poor quality headgear. I had to do a lot of research and shopping. Here is what I found out. The best quality headgear is expensive and works very well but sometimes the extra padding limits visibility. This headgear has excellent visibility but also offers cheek protection. I wanted to maximize my protection and limit visual obstructions. The head gear is very adjustable. It’s snug at first but wears in to the perfect fit. I recommend this head gear for people looking for the same features. Once you try it on you know you made the right choice as compared to Walmart, or basic sporting goods stores.
