All the Sweese stuff I have is really nice. These bowls look great but I find the shape to be awkward. Due to the uneven rim, i canโt put a salad plate over the top if i am heating something in the microwave. and you canโt put as much in the bowls. While I do use them, I wish they had this blue color set in a normal bowl shape.

Just the most fun bowls ever. Perfect size, great colors and love the shape. I was so tired of the round shape. Great weight and easy for my arthritic hands to handle.

I bought these for my winter condo by the beach (I'm a snowbird and live elsewhere during the summers). I really wanted some nice beachy dishes, but haven't found any in the 16 months since I bought this condo. These dishes in the cool (blue) palette, fit the bill and are well priced. So I bought some dinner plates, salad plates, mugs and bowls. I've only had them a week, but they are fine. They were packed well and arrived undamaged. I ordered the 6" (18 oz) size b/c that is 2.25 cups. I think that is a good all-around size for cereal, ice cream, salad, soup, etc. But I love that you can order them in different sizes. The largest size (6.5") holds 3.5 cups of liquid! How great is that? And the smallest size (4") holds just 1/2 a cup - which is great to use as prep bowls when cooking. Other reviewers on the matching plates have commented that they chip easily and break in the microwave. I live by myself, so I don't think the chipping easily will be a problem as I'm fairly careful. The microwave thing may become a problem. I'll update my review in a few months. UPDATE: 1.5 years since I purchased these. No chipping. No breaking in the microwave. ๐๐ป 2ND UPDATE: 3 years and no chips!

Purchase for my daughter-in-law, she was completing her set. She absolutely loves them great value for the money.
