Great gift for a milestone birthday!
I purchased this booklet to give to my husband on his 70th birthday. He loves nostalgia and really enjoyed reading all the facts and details about what was going on in the world in the year he was born. It’s especially amusing to see the cost of things in 1950 as compared to today, and to chuckle at the advertisements for items that were new and exciting in that year. There’s even an original 1950 cake recipe! My husband enjoyed the booklet so much, he asked me to order two more for two of his friends whose 70th birthdays are coming up this year, and we got the 1940 one for another friend who turns 80 this month.

Perfect!
This is absolutely adorable. Costs the same if not less than a regular card and much more interesting of course. For those complaining that it's "not a card" there is a place to write your own message in the front of the booklet and it fits perfect in the envelope it comes with. Even the envelope is cute.

Awesome 24 Page Book Which Will Bring Back Memories
My Brother just turned 68 years old. He is one of those guys who are difficult to buy a gift for. So as I was browsing for a gift I came across this wonderful 24 page book full of interesting facts and statistics from a time gone by. I've seen magnets for the fridge with "Remember When" Names a year and say's a "nostalgic look back in time" or birthday cards with a similar theme. However this 24 page book was so thorough and complete with many more facts and photos of advertisements from way back when that it was so appreciated by my brother. He was impressed with all the information and it brought back so many memories and laughter too. I highly recommend this as a gift with the birth year of a friend or family member, especially if you are having difficulty in finding something they would like. A few dollars can go a long way with this one.

Great card for 70th birthday
Our friend really loved this card. It was so much fun to read and reminisce to past. I highly recommend it. It was definitely a good value.
