This portable monitor’s amazing! I love the fact that it’s very convenient and easy to take on the go! It’s not heavy at all. It’s very light. It’s very easy to set up as well! It works great for gaming especially! The picture quality’s really good too! I definitely recommend this monitor!

I did a lot of research looking at soooo many of these portable monitors before deciding on this VisionOwl model, and I am ridiculously pleased with my decision. It was so easy to set up and connect to my Nintendo Switch via a portable switch dock I already had. Simply plug and play and it instantly loaded up. It's super crisp in game and almost as much so while browsing. I have my saturation and contrast turned up a little bit so if the vivid rich colors aren't your thing, there are easy adjustments to be made using the side wheel button, which also double functions to adjust brightness and volume, depending on if you scroll it up, down, or press it as a button. Pressing it opens the main menu, where you can adjust more complex details of the visual display to your preferences. I notice exactly zero lag or issues running any game on my Nintendo Switch that I want. I also plan to use this monitor with my iphone connected as a way to watch streams and/or videos while I play games on my PC, since I previously lacked a second monitor/run an ultrawide for my PC. I have no doubt it will perform perfectly for that as well. The visual quality is astounding for this affordable price point. The monitor maintains its place propped up on the included magnetic case/stand combo perfectly. I emailed to register my warranty with the included QR code packaged with the product, and was also offered a free accessory, which they quickly responded about and are actually sending to me! Now that's customer service! The sticker on the bottom left of the monitor gives their information in case you need to contact for any reason for any level of support. The included packaging pieces also mentioned this. All of this tells me they stand by this product immensely and I am over the moon with it so far. It's EXACTLY what I wanted/needed, small enough to fit in my limited leftover desk space while large enough to be properly useful for gaming and media consumption. I cannot recommend this enough and sincerely hope that if you're in the market for a solid, reliable monitor, either for home use or on the go, be it for gaming or media consumption of any kind, you'll consider this VisionOwl product as a top tier choice, if not number one. It's that good, and I'm picky about my gaming experiences and media consumption experiences, as I spend a LOT of time at my desk and a LOT of time gaming. In a sea of options, choose this. It's absolutely wonderful in every single way, and so is the company behind it from what I can tell.

Ease of set-up for PC took less than 1 minute and it just worked! I do get an occasional flicker, but I turned down the brightness and that seems to have gone away. The size, weight, screen quality, and set-up time are legendary. Grateful for the extra two screens for traveling.

Update to my last review below: The support team was so kind enough to let me know of the free products that were available to me when I registered the warranty online and at first I had requested the carrying sleeve but because they did not have it in stock, they asked me to choose another alternative until they can get the sleeve back in stock. I requested and received the monitor stand right away and I think it works great if you need that extra height. I then received another email from the company letting me know that the sleeve I originally wanted was back in stock and that they would send that to me for free.. I think that right there shows how much they value the customers needs and opinions and will do whatever is needed to make sure you are satisfied with your product and purchase. I don’t know too many other companies that would take their time to follow up as fast as they did. Which is why I think they deserve this update. Thank you so much for doing what you can to compensate for any downsides I might have experienced with the monitor.. btw the monitor is still working great and so much easier to pull out and connect when I need it. I figured out that the volume will work with certain devices I have or my other laptop so you just have to play around with it, but it definitely works well regardless! Last review: Needed a new portable monitor while working from home since the last monitor I had started to give out on me due to loose connections. I decided to give this one a try and was pleased to see that was easy to set up, and it worked right out of the box. Good screen brightness and came with a magnetic case and the necessary power and video cords that I can connect to my work laptop. I like that they have the extended warranty that you can add once you receive the product and can request a free item from the list they provide in the user manual. I also like that the cables are labeled to show what connections are available, and they were a tighter fit which is fine with me so that I didn’t have to encounter the same issues I had with the last monitor I had. It might be a bit hard to remove once you are done and want to store away but better than having no connection that will stay in place. The only thing I am unsure of is its sound quality as the volume is all the way up but I still don’t hear anything coming out of the speakers and have to rely on the speakers on my main laptop to hear anything. I also noticed that the screen resolution is a bit smaller and will need to play around to adjust it. Maybe I might need to get more instructions on that, but it seems like their customer service is readily available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Overall so far so good and I hope this one will last me a few more years

I absolutely love this portable monitor. I use it whenever I need to work away from my office — whether I’m on vacation, at a coffee shop, or just working remotely somewhere else. It is easy to set up, not bulky at all, and looks very sleek and professional. I run payroll, so I constantly have multiple browser tabs open while also working in Excel and switching between different tools. This monitor makes everything so much easier because I don’t have to keep minimizing screens every few seconds just to find what I need. It gives me the extra workspace I’m used to without having to carry around a huge setup. It’s lightweight, convenient, easy to travel with, and makes remote work feel much more organized and efficient. Definitely one of those products I didn’t realize I needed so much until I had it. Highly recommend!

This 16 inch monitor is bright, sharp, and appears to be built well. It has on off, menu button for screen settings, side button for volume and screen adjustments (tricky to use, I wish they were independent of each other), good USB-c and HDMI ( not mini) ports. Protective case/stand is very convenient and just as described. I hope to travel with it to stream. The sound volume could be louder but is adequate, and the ear phone jack works well so as not to disturb others. Definitely would purchase again.

I’ve had this portable monitor for a few months now and it meets my needs very well. This makes the perfect extra screen for school or work. The brightness is great and I appreciate the extra speakers. I gave it four stars because occasionally a white sound comes out of the monitor, but it hasnt bothered me and is very quiet. I am unsure if it will get worse in the coming years. Warrantee for the product was very easy and customer service was fast and reliable. Overall positive experience and would recommend if you need an extra screen!

The monitor has been amazing so far. It’s lightweight, thin, and after messing around with the settings the picture is very clear and crisp. It comes with a magnetic cover that covers the entire monitor. The cover also serves a stand and can be completely removed. It was extremely easy to set up - just plug and play. It fits in the same backpack I keep my laptop in. Very happy with the purchase.

Super easy to set up and has a surprisingly bright and sharp image quality along with a very thing profile and is lightweight and easily transportable The display quality is excellent, with super-clear and high-quality bright visuals, and there’s no lag at all. It feels really smooth and efficient whether I’m reading, writing, or watching videos. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great next to my laptop. I’m currently using it for my research work, and it’s made multitasking so much easier. Switching between tabs used to waste a lot of time and energy, but having this second screen has completely solved that problem. It’s lightweight and portable, fits perfectly in my laptop bag, and I can easily take it between my home and workspace. Honestly, it’s one of those purchases that makes you wonder why you didn’t buy it sooner. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to boost productivity — definitely a worth-praising purchase

I plugged this 2K (FHD) monitor into my Surface pro 8 and Macbook air M2 (2023) via a USBC cable and for both platforms a clear extension of my computer screen appeared immediately. No fuss Monitor well made, images crystal clear and very straight forward to use Plus and go. Very happy with this purchase

I needed a budget travel monitor and I am glad I found this gem! First of all, the price was spectacular at $139.99 (on sale). While this isn't a premium monitor, it does everything I need. The resolution, colour and response time is good. It comes with an amazing magnetic case. The monitor offers 2 usb-c ports and a mini-HDMI and knows when and how to use each port, whether it's to output an image or take in power. Customer support is excellent as well; they were quick to respond and even offered me some freebie accessories, which I gladly accepted. I primarily use it as a second monitor for work, but I found it held its own as a portable gaming monitor for my Switch and Steam deck. Using their preset modes did help improve the image for quality for applications such as gaming or movies. I'm not sure how long this monitor will last, but the build quality does seem nice, and the company offers 2-year warranty. The one thing I believe they can improve on uis the little dial to control the settings menus. I found it finnicky and awkward; sometimes I would accidentally activate up or down when I meant to hit the "select" function. After a bit of fiddling, you'll eventually be able to do what you want to do. The sound quality is mediocre at best, but I didn't buy this monitor for its sound output. The fact that this product provides an AUX is a huge bonus. Overall, I love this product. If it lasts the average lifespan of other monitors, I will gladly continue purchasing Vision Owl produts.
